Powered by a 26CC, 2-cycle, full-crank engine, the WBPMT26P is designed for reliability. The full crankshaft engine starts easily and runs smooth, reducing emissions, increasing fuel efficiency, and delivering longer life. This weed Wacker and attachments are worth more than I paid for! Trimmer is powerful considering is only 25cc. Bear in mind to allow 1-2 minutes warm up before use, otherwise it will miss or lack power. Once it warms up, is a beast! All attachments are solid and easy to attach and they work the way it should be. I used all of them ( hedge, trimmer and edger) and they work very good. It also comes with a backpack shoulder strap (since is a little heavy ). Don't be shy about the brand and price, go for it. This weed hacker was great at first. Easy to assemble, easy to use, and easy to start. However, after a month and a half it stopped starting. I real disappointment. Out of the box, it says prime 7x, I did that at least 5 different times and pulled the cord close to 100 times to get it started. Weed eater worked as expected. Edger struggled because grass was wet from rain the day before, and i had to go back and forth the whole yard. It'll probably do a better job when ground is totally dried out. The hedge trimmer seems like it's going half speed. It seems just strong enough to trim leaves, anything like a twig might stop it. I weed whacked, edged and trimmed 2 bushes while leaving it run the entire time, I turned it off and immediately tried to restart it and nothing! I had to prime it 3 more times and pull the string 50 more times to get it to restart. Every other weedeater would always crank right up after I used it but not this 1 yet. I'll use it again in the next 2 days and update. ... show more

First of all, I would like to say that this is the best weed eater I’ve ever had. It’s versatile, and so far every attachment works just as it should it’s easy to use and maintain, putting weedeater twine in the thingy that it goes in is super easy! Which is for me a small miracle. It has tons of power and although it’s a bit heavy the strap that comes with it distributes the way so that I’m able to use it for a long time even with chronic back problems. My only con, which is actually my fault, it dropped out of the back of the side-by-side and broke the trigger that you hold down to make it work. I’m still able to use it with the little nub that’s left but it’s not nearly as comfortable to use as it was. ... show more

I was on the fence about this trimmer because of the bad reviews for it. I used to own a lawn care company, and exclusively used Stihl products. My first impression was…wow. The pole saw seems engineered well from what I see. Metal housing, metal gears, oiler visible. The plastic shroud over the chain gear seems decent. The hedge trimmer head seems decent—also many metal parts. The brush cutter/line trimmer accessory seems decent. I see zirk fittings to add grease on the attachments. I also thought the motor plastic seemed decent. The harness fits me well. The only little annoyance is how heavy the motor is, but it is what it is. If I bought the pole saw and hedge trimmer for my existing head, that alone would have been around $200. I think this was a great value and happy with the quality. ... show more

It has been almost a year since ive had this, and i use it on my remote property almost every time i go there. It has been reliable every single time. No problems starting and is powerfull enough to cut many paths across 15+ acres. The pole saw is much more useful than i anticipated and often use it instead of my chain saw. It does get HOT so be careful when you set it down after using so you dont start a forrest fire. I had to use sandpaper to clean a few burs after changing attachments after a few times so keep that in mind if you use this away from civilization. I LOVE this machine. It has been by far my favorite tool for clearing brush and cutting paths. Hell, even dropping 8" round pines and sweet gums. It gets the job done. Perfect for bushcrafting and carving out a cozy spot to camp. ... show more
