Product is wellbuilt!! Simple to put together out of the box. Put in the included motor oil, fired up on the second pull. Plenty of power. Love it!!

TOO Early to tell. I bought from Amazon and was a little concerned that I can not return if there is a problem. Before buying on Amazon, I went to Home Depot and Walmart. Neither had the Westinghouse in stock. I should have gone to my local Lowes as they had one in stock. I have the WXP 3600 Gas Pressure Washer. Installation was easy. Followed all suggestions before starting and it started right up. I used for about two hours. Performed perfectly. I did notice as I was wiping clean that black paint has already burned off by the pump. Not a performance issue but I was suprised. My prior pump was a Harbor Freight and has worked for 15 years. I am hoping for the same life out of this unit. I mainly use for car washing, driveway/sidewalk/ House cleaning. Today I used for the first time with the Clog Hog Sewer jet to clean out kitchen sink flush out pipe. I will now start doing this every 6 months to a year. ... show more

  • Good luck ordering parts
Style: 3600 Max PSI
I just bought my Westinghouse WPX3600 pressure washer. After opening it and following the assembly directions, I ended up with a clear 8.5” tube which came in its own bag with no markings and no indication what it is for. The manual and the parts listing have no information on what it is for. I decided to call Westinghouse, and spoke to Crystal who was cordial throughout. I explained the clear tube, but Crystal could not determine what it was used for. It was apparent that she also did not have access to the schematics of their products because I had to take a picture of the exploded views and the parts list and send it to her. She did have access to the manual. I was placed on hold several times while she researched it. after 45 minutes on the phone, I was told it’s probably just an extra tube(!??). I then explained to Crystal that when I buy expensive products that have components that tend to fail I look to see if those failed parts are available to be ordered. I looked up several part numbers on Westinghouse’s website even though my unit is brand new and most DO NOT come up. In fact there were only a handful of parts one can order for my pressure washer. I brought this to Crystal’s attention and she told me that while its under warranty they can order something if needed by calling them. I asked what if I just want extra parts to have or if and when its no longer under warranty. I literally was told that I should “Google” for an AFTERMARKET part if needed. I was floored! I told her that many parts are proprietary and one can’t just always throw in an aftermarket part. Bottom line, it seems based on my conversation that ordering many parts for certain, if not all, Westinghouse power equipment will be next to impossible, especially if something goes out of warranty. My review is based on the aforementioned. I’m sure the power washer will do an adequate job while it is new. The true test is the support system when a problem arises and at this point it seems very suspect with Westinghouse. The aforementioned is my perception based on an actual conversation with Crystal at Westinghouse on 8/19/24. ... show more

  • WPX3600
Style: 3600 Max PSI
This is a review of the WPX3600 pressure washer. Pros: - Easy to assemble. - Wand is long enough to stand and comfortably wash my driveway and walkways without bending over, Note that I am 5'11". Taller persons may want an extension. - Very powerful compare to my old electric pressure washer. - 35' Hose is long enough for my application. - Seems like a solid machine. Time will tell. Cons: - The user manual does not have any information regarding how to maintain the pump itself. All the information provided targets the engine, not the pump. - The water inlet to the pump is not serviceable. Meaning if the screw collar where the hose attaches to the pump ever fails, you can't replace the fitting and would need to buy a new pump. Other: I had a hard time getting started a second time but then I realized that you need to release the pressure by holding the gun trigger down before you pull the engine crank rope. After that, one pull and the engine started just fine. Amazon Cons: Amazon Delivery driver left the package two addresses down the road on 5 acre lots. Driver left the package in the rain and it stayed there overnight. Luckily, the neighbor called me the following morning. The package was ruined due to the rain soak overnight. Fortunately, Westinghouse had the unit and all paper contents in plastic bags. ... show more

  • Don't Buy One Until You Read This!
Style: 3600 Max PSI
My pressure washer does not work. The motor runs fine, but there is no pressure. I contacted Westinghouse and the tech support person elevated my case to the tier 2 team. It took 2 weeks, 5 emails, and removing the pump to determine the factory failed to install a part on the driveshaft (the key) that connects the motor to the pump. This is why there is no pressure. Hard core manufacturing defect. They recommend I take it back where I purchased it and exchange it for a new one. Amazon will NOT accept returns on this item! If I had bought this anywhere else, I would have a new pressure washer now. Instead, I had to drive an hour and a half to take the pressure washer to a warranty repair center and it will take 3 to 4 weeks to get it repaired. Be warned this type of manufacturing defect is not usually isolated to one unit and there may be more in the Amazon warehouse with the same problem. Good Luck if you order one. This is a shame because this is the highest rate pressure washer on the market. I gave it a five rating so everyone could see this. ... show more
