I purchased two surface cleaners: • Westinghouse 16.5” Surface Cleaner for $97.19 (with tax) • 14.5” SMX ProMax for $152.87 (with tax) I used both to clean my driveway. To my surprise, the Westinghouse not only cost $55.68 less but also performed better. It cleaned more evenly, felt steady, and gave me more confidence in its durability. The SMX ProMax vibrated so much while running that it felt unstable and seemed like it might break. I ended up returning the ProMax and keeping the Westinghouse. This experience really changed how I think about product pricing and value. Sometimes the less expensive option is the smarter choice.

This surface cleaner works great. I cleaned my Pennsylvania blue stone walkway with ease and even brought it to my father in laws for his driveway and Tennessee orchard stone patios. I am excited to continue to use it for years to come. It would be nice if the connection was more flexible where the fitting attaches to the cleaner. It does not move side to side but instead more up and down.

This is a tool that I should’ve purchased years ago for power, washing my driveway and my deck in record amounts of time. This is not the old time ones that you had to hold above the driveway but a wonderful tool with wheels that make power washing your driveway in your deck no more difficult than mowing your lawn. It literally took Less than 1/4 of the time that I used to spend on my driveway to completely do it. The job this did was wonderful and the driveway looks terrific. There were many other of these on the market at about four times the price, but this one was a great bargain at the price that it was And was stainless steel also. Save yourself some time and effort and buy this.

I bought this to clean my driveway, which is part asphalt and part concrete. Overall it did a good job of removing the surface dirt. Living in the Pacific Northwest, there are some small spots of moss on both the concrete and asphalt, mostly in shady areas. The cleaner was not very effective in removing these spots when used with my pressure washer, which runs at about 2500PSI. The unit is very easy to maneuver and makes washing large areas much less work than having to cover everything with a spray wand. The "skirt" at the bottom did a good job of blocking the water from spraying out. I agree with another reviewer that it would be really helpful to have a handle of some sort on top to pick the unit up.

An absolute solid unit over my Generac. I use a Generac pressure washer so thinking that I had to stick with brand surface cleaner I was wrong. Not only bigger, made from high quality steel, the wheels made a night and day difference versus not having any. I feel like it’s not a battle trying to keep the unit on the ground like the plastic one. And the wheels allow for even glides. I came across this one based on a lot of reviews and review sites and I got a great one. Would love in the future a pro line version like the pros use but $90 vs $900+ for what I do doesn’t justify. Have my neighbors wanting one now. Cannot find any negatives, I can’t say the price because my Generac years ago was $60+ and for about $30 more I feel like the Westinghouse is a great deal. Not much splashback and have no negatives unless you’re worried about weight over a plastic one. Although it makes up for it being on wheels, it is significantly heavier versus the plastic ones so that may be a downside but honestly it makes it feel more solid doing driveways.

BETTER than expected!! Really!! I watched a couple YouTube videos of people demo'ing different pressure washer surface cleaning heads. This one seemed to perform well in the video and the price point was good. We just put it to work and it is performing much, much better than the sample video I saw. My 15 year old is cleaning our driveway and sidewalks, and he's come into the house just to tell me "thanks dad, this thing is awesome!" Of course I had to say "Nice son, now get back to work! lol". Already had a neighbor to ask my son if they could pay him to clean their drive way and sidewalk. BUY THIS... you will thank me later!!
