Definitely worthwhile purchase. This thing picks up ur existing wireless detection and extends it to where u can have stronger detection in another room and allows u to use it as an Ethernet connection. Like our wireless router is in our kitchen but my son wanted to be able to plug in directly to use the Ethernet connection in his bedroom cause he games a lot and wanted a stronger faster connection. This allowed him to be able to do that without me having to call my wireless provider and have them rewire and move the router box completely which would of ended up costing us a lot of money to have done now thanks to this device he's plugged directly in and has better signal in his room and the rest of the house hold has stronger signal as well . So it was an absolute bargain of a deal and so easy to set up and the quality of the device lets me know that it'll definitely last as long as we need it. Increases quality and speed of any wifi connection. Now my parents want one for their house. Amazing product at an amazing price

This is one of the least expensive of the extenders. As it turned out I didn't need it so I returned it. My router is at one corner of the house and I had to have it reach to the other corner and out into the garage. My router evidently took care of that. I think I would have kept it just to make sure it was a strong signal however there are questions about security when using extenders. Since I didn't really need it I decided not to take the chance. I'm not saying this one is bad at it. I'm saying do your homework and then decide.

I got this to boost my WiFi signal and it has been doing a good job at doing it. I like how easy it was to set up and how it worked to boost my internet.
