So far so good. Easy to install. First time installing a mini split, and I had no problems at all. I purchased one of the cover kits to cover the lines and wires, and a mounting pad I set on the ground. It's R34 though, and hard to find someone that can recharge it here. I ended up messing up one of the connections (my fault) and had to buy HVAC gauges and R34 and recharged myself. It's been a good mini split in my workshop. It's quiet and easy to use. Only time will tell, but for the price, I am very happy with it. Probably just as good as any others out there. ... show more

I’m very happy with the purchase. In my Airbnb rental home, there is a central air conditioning system, and it keeps breaking down. Every time a technician comes out, it costs me $1,000–$1,500, and sometimes they say it needs refrigerant, which is another $500. They also told me that since the system is already 15 years old, it should be replaced. A new central AC system for my house would cost about $8,000. I decided I am not going to spend that kind of money. Instead, I bought a separate air conditioner and installed it in the living room. It cools the space instantly. It has been working for a year now as a backup to the central system—just in case the main unit breaks again or stops cooling properly, or if guests need extra cooling. Now I’m thinking of installing the same units in the other rooms as well, before it’s too late and before the central system fails completely. I am not going to replace or keep repairing the central AC anymore—it’s no longer practical. Just make sure to pay attention to the wattage and power requirements. I also had to buy a transformer for this air conditioner because of the U.S. voltage difference. ... show more

This company is crap and customers service is extremely poor I have been trying to to get help all I get is a text message every 3 day with more questions about the unit! It doesn’t turn one at all! I bought 2 of these kits, 1 is dead out of the water the second has issues the condenser fan slow starts probably not going to last more then 18 months with constant use! Ok, I was a little concerned about the low price. It turned out perfectly. The units information was straight forward. If you are handy its an easy task to install this unit. It works perfect and will freeze you out... Watch youtube videos about how to install this unit if you have any questions before you purchase. The WiFi is awesome the remote works well. It looks like these unit are kinda made in the same chinese factory. Lol. But hay who cares as long as they work. You won't be disappointed. It does come in 2 shipments. Dont forget the vacuum pump and maybe some washers if you use a wall mount kit. You will understand. I did have to get a condensation pump and 25ft copper pipes due to my location of the unit. But it worked fine with the extra length. I didn't have to add any extra R32. But I will have to add a 110 outlet for the condensate pump. ... show more

Unit works really well in southern Arizona. We have already as of June hit over 110. Unit cools really well. It moves a lot of air. Both indoor and outdoor unit are very quite. The remote is well designed. I have another brand unit and when I pick the remote up out of the wall holder, it always removes the back cover for the batteries. Not on this unit, it slips right out and the batteries cover stay in. Be aware that this ships in 3 separate shipments. You only get one tracking number unless you contact the seller and they will provide all 3 tracking numbers. I had an issue and customer service was responsive and dealt with my issue to my satisfaction. ... show more

Mini split was fairly easy to install DIY. Several videos on you tube were very helpful in providing step by step install. Unit is very quiet when in operation. Outside compressor is also very quiet....can't really hear it running until you get within about 4-5 feet. Also, love that it is wifi enabled controls from phone! ... show more

Hykolity doesn't stand behind their product . 13 months the compressor is going bad . The add says 3 year warranty on compressor now they won't back it up . Amazon customer service just gives me the run around. Ebay has much better customer service .
