For my DIY computer, the WiFi antenna which came with my motherboard had cables which were too short. I received the WiFi 7 Gaming antenna today, hooked it up and it's working great. I measured the wires for this antenna - they measure 78.75 inches, give or take a quarter of an inch. In metric, that is 200cm. I feel ridiculous paying $25 for an antenna when that's practically the price of an adapter, but it does the trick. Works with an MSI Pro B860-VC WIFI and performs comparably to other modern clients

I got this because I'm putting together a new computer and wanted a couple of antenna options in case of signal issues. Advantages of this antenna: • Positioning Flexibility • magnetic base allows it to be securely snapped directly onto the steel panels of cases, which prevents the antenna from being knocked over and allows the wiring to be routed cleanly out of sight. • Quick Installation: It features push-on connectors rather than traditional threaded collars, making it very fast to attach or remove. Disadvantages: • Connectors on this specific antenna are designed explicitly for MSI's proprietary "EZ Antenna" ports. If you use a different motherboard for your build, this antenna will not physically attach to it. • This is an unverified, third-party brand. Substandard internal wiring, poor shielding, or cheap terminal plating in an off-brand antenna can introduce signal degradation, packet loss, or latency spikes. Ultimately, using the premium antenna engineered specifically for your motherboard by the same company that makes the motherboard is likely to be more expensive but also offer more reliable performance. This item does save you money, and is a good fit that's easy to connect, but you may not see the same level of function or durability as the brand-name antenna. ... show more

    • Long cable but bad wifi reception
Antenna cable is long but really thin. With the longer cable I could move the antenna much closer to the router but reception was actually worse than with the original antenna. For me it was completely useless product.

    • Slower than standard speeds with antenna included with motherboard
Works nice in tight areas and easy to plug into my motherboard. But the speeds are lower than the standard msi antenna that came with my board. (Test with msi antenna resulted in 480Mbps download and 41Mbps upload while this resulted in 130Mbps download and the same upload speed)

    • It works for MSI x870 Tomahawk well
This product fits my X870 Tomahawk MB well. I only have a Wi-Fi 6 router, but the speed is still much faster than the copper antenna I made with copper cables.
