Keeps my room super cool and works very well. It was super easy to set up and it is pretty low maintenance. The mount was a bit tricky, I had to cut the window mount to fit in my window but it was worth it. Can’t say there have been any leaks yet and I have had it for a while now so that’s a good sign. This roll-out Wynter White AC was more expensive than I had planned to spend, but I took in the reviews of several choices and went for it. This is the fourth portable AC I have bought for two homes. As the planet heats up and Boston sets records for 90+ temperatures, I found that my 10,000 LG wasn't cooling my large front room. It also was noisy. This beauty -- it also looks handsome -- was delivered in two days. It took a little work to set it up; then it amazed me with its near silent operation and cooling power. You can't hear it at all on the low fan setting; you can barely hear it on the medium setting, and it is barely noticeable on the high setting. It appears -- after three weeks of use -- to be well made. It is bigger than my old LG and has 12,000 BTUs, so there's that. Comes with an expensive remote. A+++++++++ ... show more

Cold AC! Set up was super easy. The two hoses in one sold me. It fit perfectly in our room. Quiet as well. I read reviews about buzzing noise but my unit hasn’t produced any noises. I love the fact that you can control it from the app. Only negative would be if you have a two story home and have to haul it up stairs but we didn’t have any issues since we can simply roll it around instead of lifting it. I have a Whynter AC Unit in my home living room and knew that brand of unit has been phenomenal so decided to purchase this brand for my office and I'm so glad I did. It was easy to install and download the app so I can adjust the temperature seamlessly from my phone. It offers several options for temperature regulation (fan, cool, auto) and keeps my room cool and dry. It's been essential to have this level of comfort during the intense heat waves so that I can focus on my work and not be overwhelmed or distracted by the temperature in the space.     • Annoying High pitch Sound From The AC Compressor & Fan.

The media could not be loaded. Makes a loud Whine noise. This only seems to happen when the compressor goes into low power mode to save power. The high pitch sound is awfully annoying when you're trying to sleep. Bummer... Other portable A/C units I've had never had this issue. . Compressors are known to have at some point a high pitch sound but this one is just too obnoxious. Edit: Not even a week after the Fan has started to make a sound now as well.
