Before you buy this, make sure that you are in the habit of turning off your monitor when you are done using it. For some people this may be obvious. Although, there are many other monitors that turn off on their own after inactivity. Because there were nights where I forgot to turn off the monitor, I now have the "WHOLEV" logo burned into the screen. Fortunately I only use the monitor as a second mini monitor.

Gnome console colors are a little washed out and it’s not real crisp but it’s low power and was zero fuss to configure. Ran raspi-config I think to eliminate the black border and startx from an ssh terminal. Like everyone else I had to file down the sides of the metal shoe on the stand to get it into the slot on the back of the monitor but it didn’t take much, just a few thousandths. I really like that there are real buttons and no touch switches because those always are the first things to fail. It takes two hands to press one though because they’re underneath and the unit is lighter than the spring pressure. So now I have a low power head for my old pi 2b running the latest raspbian.

Yes, the picture quality is quite good. Its array of ports allows it to be configured in most imaginable ways. They also provide all the cables and connectors you could desire. I found the plastic build to be rather cheap as sections pop around and that makes me wonder about durability. Also, the monitor mount does not seem to connect to the stand since the connection between them is the exact same size; one does not fit into the other. I suppose some good ol' duct tape would do it, but that isn't too desirable and only temporarily effective. It wasn't a deal-breaker since I expect the screen would be handheld rather than sitting on a stand, but for others, it would certainly be a deal-breaker. In the end, the question is its durability.

Using for a portable entertainment center in my SUV for long rides. Power cuts out once in a while but think the power connector is not right. Do your research.

The media could not be loaded. Simple to use security and other projects monitor! The image quality in this rimless over 10 inch display is great quality high resolution, the detail in the colours is beautiful and makes the image very easy on the eyes. It has quick response while supporting multi video signal, there is not flicker making it very convenient for CCTV along with the rich set of video input for DVD, TV box, VCD or CCTV. It also has a USB port that is used for power supply, and a 1080P HDMI great for Raspberry Pi projects ! It consumes very low power which makes it friendly for the environment :)

I do You Tube videos for 2 channels, and this has been a great investment. I can see what my camera see's a lot better with the 10 inch screen. The fact that this uses a 12 volt dc output power adapter will allow me to use this with a 12 volt battery to use while out in the field. The picture is great and is easy to see in most bright settings. A remote is also offered. Comes with a few cables saving you a few extra $$. Over all, this is a great value, and can help in video production, or just watching movies. Will also work with CCTV systems that have a HDMI out.

The 10" I I have it is perfect for my raspberry pi only reason i didn't give it all 5s was the stand was a little difficult to mount but that's a little thing fir a nice screen
