We bought this as it seemed to be a more durable door to use for an exterior door. Install went according to plan. Things fell apart quickly after that. The flap started to come out of one side after only a couple uses. In trying to get it back in it came out completely. Now it will not go back in and I get no response from the manufacturer. They instructions for replacing the flap only applies to a model of flap hinge not installed on our door. I'm pretty good at doing really complex projects and have a really well stocked tool box but am at a loss. It seems I would have to take the whole door apart to replace. That means drilling out rivets and prying the door off since it's "glued on" with caulk. Update! I spent some time trying to figure out how to solve the problem. What I found was that if you center the flap holder in its track there will be a small gap on each side. Then I took a plastic squeegee that I had gotten with a window tint kit and inserted it into the flap holder. As I pried the holder apart I had to make sure it was centered in the opening so that both ends could open. It snapped open, almost thought I had broken it, and both halves stayed attached to the frame. Put the flap in so that all three magnets caught and inserted the top T part of the flap into the holder. Then I carefully pushed on both sides of the holder fairly hard at which time the holder snapped back together. Flap is now held perfectly centered and operates as it should.

Was easy to install. Had rearrange cause I was using solid plastic which was thicker. I really enjoyed the slide door to keep the other critters out. Definitely recommend it 👌 👍

not a fan- The cover is super hard to open. The flap broke off so easily. Had to try to duct tape it so animals could go in and out. Turned out to be a mess. Unable to purchase just the flap so had to re-order the whole damn thing. Not worth the money - Save yourself the trouble and go with a different brand.

I have fixed this door a few times and now coming up on less than a year old it's completely broken. Very hard to unlock the panel once locked. My other complaint is it makes a lot of noise as the animals come & go, even the cat who goes in and out all through the night.
