So like the title says, this definitely does the job. I cut them to all window sizes, they work great. When I have them down they block 100% light, you do need to put some velcro on the bottom too though because it is light and if it has creases it will lift and allow light leaks. Also not perfect for using daily. If you like to lower for the sun and raise them when you like the sun, the velcro is hard to do and comes off easily. Definitely blocks out all natural light. Excellent for this shift workers that need to sleep during the day. The fabric is very light and easy to cut to size. Definitely does its job and can be customized to almost any size/shape window. The only issue I had is with the “glue dots” that are provided. Once they heat up from the sun they can not hold up the shade anymore. I had a little better luck with the Velcro that was provided.

I originally purchased this expecting to use it for my window in my room, but when it arrived it seemed smaller than advertised and had these wrinkles (no fault to the product but simply the packaging) due to being folded that I didn't feel like looking at every time I had it up. Anyway, the product does do its job as observed when I mocked it up as ample light is blocked out. I would not recommend trying to set this up by yourself and would recommend at least one other person to help to more easily manage a loose curtain. ... show more

I'll keep this short. The curtains block out all light, granted you'll likely want to use some tape to better hold the curtains and form them to your windows' shape. I recommend having two people to install them easier.

It took maybe 20 minutes to get this set up in my daughter’s room- and that was with her “helping”. Super easy and works wonderfully to keep her room dark for her naps! I used the Velcro and it worked great

This is my first time ever buying a blackout curtain. It exceeded all my expectations. The curtain itself is very thin, almost like a sheet of paper but it's very very durable and lightweight. You stick on the prepared adhesive (it comes with velcros) and slap it on the wall. You might have to use a few velcros per side since the adhesive is a bit weak though. There's legit no light coming from my window, it does a great job in making the temperature in my room a lot more bearable. Since it's also super long, I cut off the excess curtain and used it for other windows too. Definitely a recommend. ... show more
