Good little ac unit.
Size: 6,000 BTU
I just got this Whirlpool 6000 btu installed in a window in my rv. I have my rv under a metal cover. It gets over a 100 degree’s inside, that’s hard on the inside. I’m just trying to keep it around 90. Tested the ac fins and compressor with a thermal gun, the fins were 132 and the comp was 112. Tested the air coming from the ac unit and it was 59 degrees. This week will be a very good test for it, average temp will be about 110 outside. So far it seems good, if it gets through these next 10 days I will be impressed. We aren’t staying in the rv, so the noise level seems like a motel ac. Easy to use controls. The weight was not a factor. No leakage right now and the price for this little unit I thought was good. If I can do another review in 2 months I will. It’s too early to give an honest opinion. I would recommend, as of now. ... show more

They sent two left window sashes.
Size: 6,000 BTU
The Air Conditioner works good, but they sent me two left window sashes. I had to turn one upside down. It worked but I really need the right one. I am going to try to get it, Ill see how it goes.

Cools well, fairly quiet
Size: 6,000 BTU
This air conditioner is in my bedroom. With the fan speed set to medium, it's reasonably quiet and cools well! A little noisy when on eco mode, but not enough to be annoying. We'll see how well it holds up, my last unit lasted 12 years!

Whirlpool sucks! Amazon Sucks!
Size: 6,000 BTU
AC would not work. All instructions followed, conditions for operation are optimal. No issues that would keep the unit from operating correctly. Unit will not run properly. I called Whirlpool for help. They tried to trouble shoot with no success. They told me to contact Amazon for more trouble shooting. 🤔 Amazon could only offer refund options. I need to box up the unit, haul it to an ups store and ship it back. Home pick won’t work because someone needs to be home. I’m done with Amazon. I’ll order my dog food and vitamins but I’ll never purchase a “large” item from them again. Walmart/Costco/Lowes/Menards… YOU HAVE MY BUSINESS!! ... show more

I definitely recommend this unit
Size: 6,000 BTU
We love this little air conditioner. We have it in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment that's about 940 ft.². We have this in our master bedroom and because I have a couple of fans set up throughout the apartment to pull the air out of our master bedroom into the rest of the apartment. This little 6000 BTU air conditioner will keep a 940 square-foot apartment cool with setting up fans to circulate the air. I would highly suggest this to anyone. As far as the loudness goes, it can be a little loud at night but, we already sleep with Rain Sounds on our TV so most of the time we don't hear it at all. ... show more

Nice air conditioner
Size: 6,000 BTU
Nice window air conditioner. The vents move more that side to side for better distribution of the cool air. Noise level is tolerable.
