This travel chair is a game changer! It allows us to attend movies and go out and about with my brother who uses a walker or wheelchair in his daily life now. So it has opened life up more. This travel chair is well made and easy to use for him and us. The tip in a previous review to get a gel cushion for longer excursions is a good idea. Otherwise for short hops it is fine as it is. The chair rolls smoothly and is controlled easily from behind. It folds together beautifully, is not too heavy, and fits nicely into the trunk of our Toyota Corolla. Then off we go! I purchased this for my husband. He is in a wheelchair, and a regular wheelchair is very heavy taking in and out of car. I purchased this to ease the pain in my back from lifting the old one. The quality is amazing, incredibly easy to put together. Much lighter and comfortable for my husband. I keep in the car to make Dr visits much easier for me and him. And the chair itself is very sturdy. I would recommend those who need a lighter wheelchair travel. When folds it is very compact.

We have had this chair for about 10 months and are very happy with it. It is lightweight, easy to fold and put in the trunk, very easy to push and maneuver, and comfortable as far as I know (my husband rarely complains! ). I'm really glad we got it. We use it every day. (Small) CONS I took off a star because of a few minor design flaws that should be easily addressed by the manufacturer. First, the footrest gets caught under the seat so when you get it out of the trunk and open it up, it won't go down until you have the person get up so that you can lift the seat slightly. YES, I KNOW that I could address this before they sit down, but my memory's not so great these days, either. But if you know in advance, perhaps you can train yourself better than I have! LOL Next minor issue is that it was supposed to be easy to maneuver on rough ground -- we have the worst sidewalks! Old and cracked, tree roots, spots where they were repaired and the replaced section has sunk down 3 inches (no kidding!) We just don't use it outside very much at all, and that is a big disappointment. I'm now shopping for an all-terrain version. But the ride is very smooth inside and on smooth paved surfaces. We just like to walk outside -- so not recommended for Pittsburgh! Last -- Seat handles are a bit short. It's hard to reach them so that you can sit safely. No complaints about the size, though! My husband was 5'11", now is 5'8" and has always had unusually long legs. His knees do stick up a bit, but he doesn't mind and seems perfectly comfortable. He weighs around 170. I don't regret buying it -- as long as we are indoors, it's been great.

Good portable wheelchair - with one problem that could be a deal breaker. -- It is lightweight yet very sturdy, easily folds for transport in the trunk, and unfolds easily for use and you can lock the wheels in place so the chair can't move as the person is getting in and out of it. It carries a 200 lb person with no problems and easily rolls on "smooth" surfaces. BUT - this is what may be a deal breaker for you: The front wheels won't roll over common entry door thresholds and with the weight of a person in it, that becomes a big problem. Evidently, it needs larger front wheels or wheels that have some "give" to them so they can get over normal variations in surfaces. There's a wheelchair ramp at the hospital that has a tiny gutter seam between the ramp and the asphalt parking lot and the front wheels get stuck in it. A running start is required to get the front wheels past it - and the jolt to the person in the wheelchair is not pleasant. If you will be using it on continuous smooth surfaces - it will be just fine, but if you use it anywhere else - like out in the real world - you may be sending it back - so be aware of that before buying it.

I’m incredibly pleased with the Whlickd adult wheelchair—it’s exactly as advertised and perfect for travel. The chair folds up easily and compactly, making it ideal for short trips. I use a pad for longer outings, which makes it even more comfortable. It maneuvers beautifully and handles very well, even with an adult close to the weight capacity. One of my favorite features is how lightweight and manageable it is. I can lift it into the trunk of my small Kia Soul with no trouble at all—it fits perfectly back there! This chair also has a modern, sporty look that sets it apart from traditional wheelchairs. That design has made a big difference for my mom; she doesn’t feel self-conscious using it. I also appreciate the adjustable push handles that lock securely in place, as well as the footrest platform, which is much sturdier than models with slats. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to upgrade the armrests. But with a little creativity (we use a pool noodle), it’s an easy fix for added comfort. All in all, I love this chair and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a functional, travel-friendly wheelchair with a sleek, supportive design.

This wheelchair was wonderful for my 97-year-old mom. It’s lightweight, not bulky, and very versatile. She absolutely loved it! I was able to take her shopping, run errands, and enjoy relaxing strolls around the neighborhood with ease. It made getting out and about so much more comfortable for both of us.
