This is my second Whall toaster. Same model, different color. The first lasted 2 years of daily use before the lever would no longer stay down. What I like about the toaster is the even browning whether you toast 1 slice or 2 slices. My previous model had black sides, stainless front. Because that was no longer available, I ordered the stainless. The stainless surface is easily "printed" with anything that touches it and requires constant wiping for a uniform surface. Not worth returning, because it's all about the "toast". If you don't mind constant wiping, this is worth the buy. ... show more
