This is an air weight, ivory colored fleece blanket just like you see at Walmart or Target. The big difference is there is no lint. And I mean none. Zip. Zero. I’ve never seen anything like it. I was wearing a solid black ski base layer when I unpackaged it and it didn’t leave a trace of anything on my shirt. I even intentionally brushed it against my shirt….nothing. Skeptical, I threw it in the washer fully expecting it to disintegrate just like all the others before it. I was quite surprised when it came out lint free. After drying it I pulled the lint screen out and it was clean. I have no idea how they pulled this off. I wanted extra overhang so I purchased a king sized blanket for a queen sized bed. I sleep with the blanket sandwiched between 2 flat sheets and with nothing else. The outer top sheet protects the loft of the blanket from drafts. I’m hot natured and I like my bedroom cool. With my bedroom at 66 degrees and just the blanket and 2 sheets and while sleeping on a conventional mattress, I’m borderline too warm. It’s so lightweight it initially feels cold and uninviting. It is also slow to warm up, taking about 2 full minutes before I’m comfortable. I like a blanket to have some heft to it. For me that is where the real comfort lies. This has none of that. I can barely feel it the thing is so light. The blanket shipped fully compressed in a very small package. So small I almost sent it back in disgust. After washing and drying it fluffed up to completely fill my dryer. It is actually a bit too large for the dryer making it difficult to dry. I’m going to order a queen size and use the king for a backup. This has been a pleasant surprise for an Amazon purchase. May 2024 Update. I liked it so much that I purchased another one in queen size and just like the first one it doesn’t shed either. There was nothing in the lint screen after the first wash. This is a terrific summer blanket. I only wish they offered an extra long in the twin size, 80 inches is too short. The queen sized was easy to dry in my standard sized dryer. ... show more

I just received the throws, so I can’t speak to how they will hold up, but I washed them and ran them through the dryer today. They didn’t shed, and I didn’t notice any shrinkage. They fluffed up in the dryer and are thick and soft. I am quite pleased with them.

This might just be the warmest thin blanket ive ever owned. I can sleep with just this and im warm all night. If i stack the blanket with anything else i sweat like crazy and i run cold typically. Definitely grab this blanket if you have the chance. Worth every cent.
