Replace the original fob exterior since one of the locking clips broke while changing out battery only needed the side that broke but actually used the entire new exterior shell with our internal mechanism

My factory key fob broke and my rubber piece fell out so I couldn’t use the buttons on it. I bought this shell to just put my chip in and thought it would work as I read good reviews on it for that purpose. Well, I put it all together and my alarm kept going off while the key fob was just sitting on the counter inside and in order to turn the alarm off, I had to go in the car and start it. I thought maybe things were too snug in the new fob shell so I put my old front piece and middle piece from my old shell and just kept the rubber insert and front piece and put back tougher. Well, I’ll be dang….. it did it again and again and again until I had enough and just taped my old key fob back together with the rubber piece from the new shell. I recommend getting this fob if you want to see if your neighbors care about your car being broken into! Every single person on the block were out on their porches wondering who the heck kept trying to break into my car. 🤦♀️ ... show more
