Nicely constructed plug and socket. Good sized gold plated pins. Threaded assembly compresses on the wire bundle that feeds into the plug. Rubber socket cap to protect the bulkhead mounted socket when not in use. I am using it in an exterior application. Let’s see how it lasts.

After soldering the wires to the pins I noticed that some pins were bent. Also, the plastic inserts can easily be damaged. For the rubber washers they are slightly over sized. When test fitted, it doesn’t quite line up due to the bent pins. Needless to say, come spring I will be looking for a replacement. I’ll know how it will hold up to the elements because this plug will see cold, snow, rain, and hopefully sun. Fingers crossed it isn’t subzero temperatures when this fails. ... show more
