I bought this open box so got a great deal (arrived like new). Most of it was very easy to assemble except the "wings" on the back of the chair. They took an hour. The holes don't line up so I used a rubber mallet on the wings to make the holes line up. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality. I only bought this chair as the color looked like it would pick-up a color in wallpaper. It was an exact match. It was also small enough, but not too small, for a bedroom. Would I buy this again? The chair is comfortable, though it is not for a very large or heavy person. It is extremely comfortable, and was simple enough to put together. I had bought two for the living room and was able to put both of them together in a little over an hour. Be very sure to count all of the parts you are supposed to have before you begin, or you may be unpleasantly surprised. One of the boxes did not have the correct amount of a few of the screws. My other box had extra, so I was okay. If I'd only bought one, I might have been in trouble! As many people say, the wings take some care to put on. If you need furniture that can take hard use (teenagers in the house or something), I would not recommend this chair. But for someone a bit more fussy and careful, it's perfectly fine! ... show more

Very easy to assemble, only took me 15 minutes. The chair it great for shorter people, I am 5'1 and my feet reach the ground. The arm is a bit wiggly, but that is my only complaint after having it for a few months.

Seems well made, good quality. Only thing that sort of bothers me is that when It’s at full recline, if I move my upper body a bit, it automatically goes to semi recline so I have to fight with it a bit. Wish it had a recline control/lock on the side.

This is a beautiful chair, but rather uncomfortable. The foam padded seat does not inspire confidence in lasting long. The unpadded arms are not comfortable, nor is the sloped back, leaving the head unsupported. Assembly was not without problems. Some of the bolts were very difficult to set.
