  • Great 5 string for the price
Color: Natural
Great 5 string bass as I was looking for something completely different.I still own a 1998 Fender Jazz Bass (Mexico) still a good guitar but needed another change. This suits me perfectly and what I read is all true , great sound, light weight and fast action neck. Definitely worth the buck and very satisfied ... show more

  • Cool bass!
Color: Natural
Pretty cool 5 string bass! Like all Ibanez basses, the neck is thin, smooth, fast and comfortable. A little bit of fret buzz, but nothing a good set up couldn't take care of. IMHO the pickup is the weakest part of this bass, although I'm sure others will disagree. To me, it seems to pick up way too much of finger/feet noise until the tone is turned down nearly all the way, then the whole character of the bass is lost and it just sounds dull. I tried a couple of different replacements with mixed results and finally settled on a passive EMG - which cost almost as much as the bass did! Well, as they say, your mileage may vary... ... show more

  • 16.5mm spacing at bridge
Color: Natural
Nice bass for the money…vey nice. Pickup super hot, neck is nice. Intonation adequate but not perfect. Only basic action/ intonation adjustment out of the box, neck relief was good. if you are a 4 string player used to standard 19mm string spacing this bass will be a challenge. Which is why I returned it. Too narrow spacing and not spec’d as such on the sales page. You may not have this issue, so otherwise super nice bass for 200 bucks. ... show more

  • Great 5 String Bass; Great Price
Color: Natural
Light weight; great tone; good hardware. Good for novices or experienced bass players at a fair price.

  • Worth the money
Color: Natural
I have had this bass for a year now and I don't know how or why, but it is the best bass I have owned especially at this price point. I use it strictly for studio recording and it has the best sound I have ever recorded. For the price, it is more than worth it, it never goes out of tune unless a drastic weather change occurs. ... show more

  • Solid, light, good tone
Color: Natural
This thing plays well, is very inexpensive, and seems to be of great quality. It is the lightest bass I own (I have 4) and very comfortable. Playing 5 strings takes a little getting used to; I am constantly getting confused, but am getting better. Not the bass's fault. It rocks! Someday I will too... ... show more
