This brush is great for wet hair! The bristles are very flexible so when brushing wet hair it does not break the hair. The brush does not have any drying ability, but as already stated is great for brushing wet hair as it won’t break it. Would also be good for damaged hair as it won’t yank the hair and break it. I have decently thick hair and I always brush it after I shower. I use a pick on my hair with conditioner in, so it isn't usually very tangled after the shower. However, every once in a while I would hear a crack, but I never noticed anything visible, so I ignored it. About a year after purchase, the paddle broke. I super glued it back together and still used it while I ordered a new one. It lasted a long time and for the price, it is great.
