im a dude with longer hair and am normally in a hurry, so i gotta brush my hair out while still slightly wet. this brush works great! rarely ever does it get any tangles, easy to use. start at the bottom and work up to the top of your head..

So I got this brush to do blowdry blowouts on my beard. My beard is about 3 to 5 inches. I needed the brush to detangle my wet beard without pulling — all while providing enough “grip” to give my beard a blow out style. Overall this brush did do the trick. It’s was small enough to handle my beard size. Other detangling brushes are usually larger for head hair styling. The bristle pulled my hair a little bit more than I liked. But not like other brushes of the same type. It was def less than others of the same type. I feel like this brush would not be the first brush I pickup for detangling. I would kind of pre-detangle with a more wide tooth or plastic detangler brush first, then use this more for deeper detangling and blow drying/heat straightening. Overall it’s a recommend. But for kinky hairtypes like my beard, I would pre detangle first with a more forgiving wet brush or comb first,zzz

I have tried a number of brushes. I am a cancer survivor and chemo has a weird way of changing the texture of your hair when it grows back. I have had thin, thick, straight, and curly hair in all sorts of combinations in differing colors over the years. The color changes the texture. One thing remains the same. My hair gets a lot of tangles, so I am also looking for a quick, easy, painless way to effectively manage my long hair. I own several Wet Brushes, so I was sold on the brand already a couple of years ago; however, the ladies brushes tend to be larger and the bristles are spaced farther apart. I love this one because it is more compact, easier to clean, simple to carry, and having the bristles closer together makes it faster. This is the best of the best! It is not just for men. It is an awesome brush for anyone. I highly recommend it. It is one of my favorite Amazon finds!

Attempted to replace a shower hairbrush. But this one is not as good at getting all your hair to the scalp. Bristles are too soft. So it takes more time to get through all your hair. My son likes it for his hair that is much shorter.
