A brush isn’t a big deal really… except if you have long or fine, or thinning hair. My hair has always been thick and waist length. I’m a senior now, and it’s still is….but is much finer. Like a little kids.. ( no hormones.). It is really hard to brush out, it works in to unwanted dreads, and I pull out a lot of hair when attempting to get it brushed smooth. ( 15 or more minutes of aggressive struggle to get brushed. ) I’ve learned to hate brushing, just braid and tie up, to avoid brushing. ( I know you think…just cut it short… but it’s just not me…) SO…I tried this brush. It is amazing!!! It never hurts, it glides through tangles. I can’t get over it!. I love to brush again. It takes 5 minutes, with waste length hair. *** if you have a child that hates brushing… try this, it will help.*** hold locks, by scalp, gently & firmly, … then brush, don’t just jerk thru..that hurts., and causes more hair lose. ... show more

I ordered the green mini brush primarily for travel. This is my first Wet Brush. I normally use a full-sized Crave brush. My first impression was that this brush is heavy for its small size! I expected it to be hollow (like the Crave brush) or made of thinner, cheaper plastic. While I appreciate the quality of the product, I was worried about the weight of it in my travel dopp kit. However, it’s been well worth the weight so far. Be warned though that if you happen to drop the brush on your foot, it can be quite painful (due to its shape). So far, it’s worked well on my wet hair. It feels smoother than the Crave brush when going through my wet hair. Even though the brush is much smaller, I don’t feel that I’m spending more time brushing my hair. ... show more

Hair dresser friend recommended these. I thought it was normal for my hair to be aggressively ripped from my head. Apparently, it's not.
