Wife and I shared this brush for a few years. Great at detangling without breaking. Loved it! Eventually, I decided to put it in the dishwasher to get it clean (works with combs!). It just wasn't quite the same afterwards; the bristles weren't quite as stiff/resistant as before. Immediately searched and found a replacement. Had to buy pink but I'm secure enough to use it without threatening my masculinity (as long as it's in the privacy of my bathroom). The travel size appears to be a convenient option but haven't tried it yet. Get this but wash it the old fashioned way.

This works great!! I have two ragdolls that tolerate being brushed and I have gone through lots of expensive grooming tools for them. I originally purchased it for the Labradoodle, it works great on him and it's now easy to keep his coat a little longer and free of tangles. For giggles I tried it on the cats; to my amazement they both held still while I went through their coats. The male cat will hop up on the coach if he sees me holding the brush and will let me give him a thorough brushing! It does take out loose fur and is gentle on their skin. I still like the Safari Comb for snarls and matts, but this Wet Brush has turned into our everyday maintenance grooming. Although it is not it's intended use, highly recommended and I rarely write reviews.

My daughter always gets tangles in her hair even though we use a lot of conditioner. She also has such a sensitive scalp and getting tangled out became such a tedious job. I also get tangles quite easily- not like hers, but still do. Someone recommended this to me and I was willing to try anything. This brush(we used the bigger one mostly) really works well! It definitely gets the tangles out with very lil effort. It doesn’t hurt as much like with a comb or regular brush. I’m quite impressed! I use the wet brush while my hair is wet - I have thin and fine hair. It minimizes breakage and combs through tangles like no other brush. I love the mini brush and use it for my toddler's hair. But I have also used the mini brush when I can't find my regular-sized one, and it still works great on my long hair.

These brushes are gentle on my scalp and de-tangle my hair without pulling my hair out. My hair falls out in large quantities due to a health problem at times, and this brush doesn't pull additional hair out like some higher priced brushes.
