This is a great tool to give your back a break from shoveling especially when the snowfall exceeds 3-4 inches. I will say the claims that this can plow up to 9 inches of snow is completely false lol. It can handle 4-5 inches well but definitely not much more than that. If it's a bigger snowfall (6 inches+) plan to do runs every few hours, not all at once. It also doesn't blow nearly as far as it claims, but it does blow enough for it to go well out of the way of your path. I had apparently not installed the wheels correctly and both ended up falling off during my first run. So pay extra attention to that part of the install. Once they were set up correctly they stayed on without issue. The next annoying thing was dealing with the cord. Make sure you have a long, outdoor rated extension cord, 50 foot preferably. Thankfully this machine is light so it's possible to push with one hand and hold the cord with the other if you don't feel like adjusting it regularly. Other than those two things this is a really nice unit and is well worth the $140 I paid. I do wish I would have spent a little more for a battery powered one, but for my driveway size and our climate in Cincinnati it's not a big deal. I will also add this does not fully replace a snow shovel. You will still want one for stairs and the end of the driveway if a plow truck comes through and pushes all the street snow against it. Both in tandem work beautifully though. We just got 11 inches during that crazy January 2026 snowstorm and it was a lifesaver. Very glad I bought it in anticipation for that, but if you can get a cordless model do it. Westinghouse is a great brand. I've been impressed with the few produced I've bought from them. Lastly, there are a lot of good snow melting alternatives to salt now too, so buy yourself some of that to really clear your driveway. ... show more

Assembly was easy. The instructions page are too small but I was able to understand how to do it. We got two small washers that according to the pictures we don’t need to use them but it was needed for the handle assembly. Didn’t use the snow blower yet.

I used it in the score and sleet today. It did great in 3-4” of snow with some sleet mixed in. You have to let it do the work and not force it until it bogs down. It’s powerful for its size. I put a little silicone on the directional chute and it spins around nicely using the handle. I did my walkway and driveway rather quickly and didn’t break a sweat. I went out every 5-6 hours and redid my driveway just like shoveling since it’s not made for lots of snow at one time. I have two stents in my heart so shoveling can be spooky. Update: Will be returning. Used 1 time for approximately 20 feet. Extremely loud, sounds like gears grinding. According to my neighbor it sounds like a chainsaw. Lights don’t work. Struggled with 2 inches of fluffy snow. Blade kept jamming blows just as much snow back at you as it does forward. Smells like melting plastic. Handle bolts don’t stay tight due to the vibrations of what ever is grinding inside kept folding in on itself. 1st review: There was live roachs inside the box! I Haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet. Assembly was fairly annoying. None of the bolts are labeled. Half were individually wrapped and thrown in the box. Very light. ... show more

Very nice solid machine with a powerful motor. It came with a user manual with easy to read instructions. Easy to assemble. I bought this corded model because I didn't want to bother with a gas model that would need more maintenance considering todays junk gasoline. Make sure you read the instructions and pay attention to the gauge of your extension cord. This machine draws 15 amps so I also bought a 50 foot 12 gauge extension cord from Amazon. ... show more

Seems to be quite reliable, happy. A little light, had me concerned whether it could handle major snow. Decent value for money as other snow blowers are much more expensive. Throwing distance is not too shabby, gets the job done. Instructions were a little scant but you'll figure it out.
