Oil rubbed bronze finish with highlights on broad, metal shades create Rustic appeal. Finished in a metallic bronze, the inside of the shades create a reflective two-tone appearance and enhances the soft warm glow of this pendant. This convertible design fixture gives you multiple installation options as a chandelier or a semi-flush. The semi-flush design is perfect for a foyer, living room or bedroom while the chandelier design is ideal for a dining room or entryway. We almost bought expensive Hunter light fixtures to semi- match with our ceiling fans. I found this on Amazon and we love it- it is light weight, provides tons of light, has a cute farmhouse aesthetic especially with Edison bulbs and was much less expensive than the Hunter fixtures. I also bought the matching linear light for our kitchen - it’s amazing and we get tons of compliments. We have a sort of "farmhouse" decor in our house, so got this fixture for the dining room, along with Edison-style bulbs. We especially like the amber-colored lamp canopies, this really dresses it up, and does not seem to affect the reflectivity of the bulbs. The fixture arrived promptly, and was well-packed, with no damage. Installation was pretty straightforward, the enclosed instructions were clear and concise. We have an angled ceiling, so I did have to shorten the chain and wire to fit. The only "con" for me is when I opened the chain links to remove them, even though I covered the pliers jaws with tape, some of the finish came off. Not a major flaw, and you can't really see it from the floor, but it was a little disappointing. Other than that though, the fixture seems good quality, well-made and sturdy, and we are very happy with it! ... show more

We purchased this light to replace a 7-light fixture that looked dated and kept going through light bulbs. This light fixture weighs much less than the old fixture, and the white enamel lining of the shades directs the light downward on the table and not up on the ceiling. My husband installed this new light in under 30 minutes without a single cuss word, and all aspects of the light was in perfect shape when we opened the box. This light was very easy to install. ( I am not a very handy man.) I took the chain off as i didn't need it. Which made the wires very long, had a hard time getting all the wire in the junction box. It looks nice. I used 40 watt led bulbs. It puts out a good amount of light. The light does not weigh very much. The positive of that is that made it easy to install. Product was delivered on time! Light was very nice. Used coated LED bulbs due to glare. Just be aware of the glare with clear or antique style bulbs. Our dining room is next to living room TV so glare was a big problem with wrong bulbs. My husband installed dimmer switch which helped with the ambience of the room. ... show more

I love it! I needed a lot more light in my dining room since I actually use that wasted space as my bake shoppe now. It is perfect! I can see delicate work so much better in there now. I did put four 60 watt Edison Bulbs in it though. If you want a softer light, go with less wattage or install a dimmer switch. The antique style of the light fixture goes perfectly with the style of decor throughout my home. I've been looking many years for the perfect fixture to go in that room and I'm so glad I waited until I found this one. The price is much less than what I thought I'd have spent for this fixture.
