Best Heat Blanket I Own Best Heat Blanket I Own
Color: Beige Size: Throw Size 50*60"

I will freely admit that Westinghouse Heated Blankets are hands down the best. My first blanket from them was a king-size blanket that my husband and I have used for years. We loved it so much that we decided to get a twin-size and a throw for my home office. These blankets are super soft and feel absolutely fantastic on your skin. They are the perfect thickness, feel nice without heat, and offer that perfect comfort when the heated portion is working. It can go from slightly warm to ultra-heated very quickly, allowing you to have the warmth you need not just to feel comfortable, but also to manage pain. Its versatility is part of why I have always loved their blankets (as well as their overall appearance, which looks very high-quality). While the durability is also a huge plus, the biggest for me is that they aren't just washable, but last a long time even after washing. These are the only blankets I have ever purchased that wash, last for years, and still look exactly the same as the day you purchased them. While they may be pricier than some other brands, these blankets are worth the money! ... show more

Fine heated blanket.
Color: Navy Blue Size: Twin Size 62*84"
Awesome blanket! Comfortable fabric, I don’t feel the wires. Works well with easy to use control. Bout a twin size for my queen bed. Don’t need to heat sides hanging down. Heat might be a little spotty but it gets very hot which makes up for it. Might buy another as a gift. Be careful with all heated blankets as washing can kill them. I’ve only washed once so far and it survived, cold water and avoid the dryer. ... show more

Good Electric Blanket
Color: Charcoal Size: Queen Size 84*90"
This is a very supple well constructed, lite weight, queen size blanket. I wanted a 4 zone blanket with separate controls for each. Can only find that in a matress cover which I didn't want. Both controller connections are located at the foot of the bed corners. I turned the blanket sideways with the connections on the left side of the bed and walla, I have an upper and a lower zone. I'm the only one sleeping in the bed so having the wires connect on the left side is no issue. The connections are on top of the blanket and 10 inches from the edge. Just went thru a cold week with temps in the -15 degrees and very comfortable with the lower control set on 4 and the upper control on 2. Max setting is 10. I have one sheet under the blanket and no other blankets above and room temp was about 58 degrees. This week, night temps are 30 above zero and the lower control is set at low and the upper control is off, and that is with the room door closed to restrict the house heat and running a ceiling fan. If I couldn't run the blanket, my feet would be too cold. So, I wish the blanket had a little lower setting. The chord from the blanket connection to the controls is long enough to go from the rear of the bed to the front up over the headboard. The numbers on the controls are bright. If I close my eyes, I don't notice them. And when I want to make a change at night, I can see the numbers. The blanket is supposed to be put on the bed with the label up only. And you are not suppoed to put other blankets on top of it. I can't imagine you would need more than this blanket to keep warm. The blanket warms up quickly at night. I turn it on, prepare for bed undress and bathroom, return to the bed and it is fully warm. Can't say enough good about it. ... show more

Awesome design and high quality material
Color: Navy Blue Size: King Size 100*90"
This electric blanket is phenomenal! The outside blanket is soft and warm by itself. We have the King size which has two controls one for each side of the bed. The wires are routed under the bed and up at the end of the bed. So, they are out of the way. Years ago I’ve had electric blankets before. They had relatively thick wiring for the heat. These heating wires are very this and a big improvement. The controls have several heat settings and a timer for how long the heat should be applied. The only cons I’ll mention are that the light on the controls might be distracting from your sleep when the blanket is ON. But, that also helps you see where the control is located in case you want to adjust it. The second issue is also minor and involves the labeling. There are several labels on the underside of the blanket. Okay, probably keeps some jackass lawyer happy. But there is also a huge white label on the other side of the blanket near where the individual controls plug in. It is not very aesthetically pleasing as the electric blanket is usually the top blanket. Overall though, a great add for the winter nights! ... show more

Strangest thing that has ever come into my house Strangest thing that has ever come into my house
Color: Navy Blue Size: Twin Size 62*84"
Review Image by Cinders
First of all, I ordered a "Westinghouse Heated Blanket" on Amazon, but the box that arrived here calls the contents a "Warming Blanket," which sounds more like a throw-- since the common usage for a heated cover for a bed is "Electric Blanket." But the drawing on the outside of the box clearly shows a bed, with the coverlet laid on top of the bed. And since there is a "controller" with heat settings, which is on a long cord designed to permit its being on a bedside table (which is clearly portrayed in the drawing on the box), despite the odd name on the box, this item is supposed to be used as what normal parlance would call an electric blanket. However since it was "MADE IN CHINA" my reliance on and confidence in the Westinghouse name was wildly misplaced, and what I received has been very disappointing. The strangest aspect of this item is that you can only put it on the bed in ONE WAY, and if your bed has an outlet to the left of the bed rather than to the right of the bed, you are screwed. Their instructions make this very clear (and so does the drawing of the bed with the coverlet, which is repeated four times-- once on the front of the box, once on the back of the box, and again on each of the two long sides of the box-- Just in case you miss it !! ) The written instructions which come inside the box say that you are to place the heated blanket (yes, they at least got the language right there) on the bed "with the label at the foot of the bed and facing upward". (HOW WEIRD IS THAT?]. There is a full page of diagrams, with the bed shown in the middle diagram. That diagram shows the label (labeled "LABEL" in capital letters on the drawing) on the portion of the blanket which is hanging down at the foot of the bed like a bedskirt would, on the LEFT side of that portion of the blanket, with the "Module" (the clunky part of the electrical supply, which protrudes from the blanket) on the RIGHT side of that portion of the blanket. (Really! So bizarre) The wall outlet from which the power is supposed to come is shown on the right side of the bed, as is the bedside table. Everything in the instructions and the diagram require you to have this set up, exactly as shown in the diagram, and if you-- like me-- have the only main outlet in the bedroom to the LEFT of the head of the bed, you simply can't do what they want you to do. I am well educated, I do a lot of reading, I have a high IQ, and I tried to use the blanket on my bed in such a way that the power cord could go to the outlet which is to the left of the head of my bed. That really doesn't work, which is why they are so specific about the placement of the blanket, both in their diagrams on the box, their diagram in the instructions, and in the printed instructions. Is it possible that people in China always have their bed positioned in such a way that the wall outlet is on the right of the bed? My bed is against the wall in a little alcove, and it's the right side of my bed that is against the wall, and it has been that way for the 7 years I have lived in this studio apartment. There is literally no place else to put that bed. The outlet is not even very near the bed, but the cord from the blanket JUST reaches it. IF I violate the instructions and run the electrical cord along the left side of my bed, to the only outlet that is anywhere near the bed, it sort of works but I can guess why they don't want me to do that since it means I would inevitably step on the power cord. So buyer beware !! You really don't want to sleep with the power "module" (which is quite clunky) on the edge of the blanket near your face. That would be truly uncomfortable. ... show more

My warmest and best night of sleep in years!
Color: Wine Red Size: King Size 100*90"
This is an excellent product. Our old Electric blanket had to be turned way up to 7 and then there were places that didn't keep me warm enough. We used it last night. We set it at setting 4. It warmed up right away and an hour later both my husband and I had to turn it down to 3 and slept all night. It was just wonderful to wake up nice and warm this morning. I actually slept better than I have in a couple of years. It was well worth buying. I was waking up several times a night and I hope to sleep like last night for a long while. Lt is also very soft and snuggly--perfect! It also looks like the photo of it ... show more

Much Better Lighted Controls with Easy Touch Button Control
Color: Beige Size: King Size 100*90"
The blanket itself is soft and comfortable but thin, one can really feel the electric cords running through it. Laying a soft second blanket over it will keep the heat from radiating out into the room and allow for more comfortable lower settings The controls are better on this blanket than many others. They are lighted. If you turn it on before going to sleep, the light allows you to find the controller in a darkened bedroom. The control has no audible clicking nor flashing, if you adjust it during the night. Importantly, it has distinct buttons, not just flush mounted pressure plates. This allows one to easily make adjustment by touch during the night. It has a timer setting so it will stay on all night. Surprisingly, other brands turned off unexpectedly, even when the timer was set for 8 hours. (About the lighted control: if the glow on the bedroom ceiling bothers you, just place a handkerchief over the controls to muffle the light.) All in all, I like this blanket better than the others. ... show more
