  • Impressive volume and seamless integration for a compact system
Size: 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Subwoofer
For such a petite size, the volume this system puts out is honestly shocking. It easily fills the room without looking like a bulky piece of tech cluttering up the media stand. It is a very clean, low-profile setup that still packs a punch. The ease of setup is a major selling point. It is Roku TV Ready, which makes integration completely seamless and keeps you from having to juggle multiple remotes. Hooking it up with the HDMI eARC connection was incredibly fast and makes daily use simple since it turns on and off right with the TV. When it comes to functionality and sound quality, it delivers crisp, clear audio. The dialogue enhancement works great for TV shows and news, making voices easy to understand without messing with the settings. The wireless subwoofer adds a nice, deep cinematic bass that really elevates movie nights. Considering the modern audio formats and the level of performance you get for the price, it offers excellent value for the money if you want a solid, straightforward upgrade over built-in TV speakers. ... show more

  • Really love it!
Size: 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Subwoofer
This Westinghouse 2.1 Channel Soundbar has been an excellent upgrade for our family movie nights. For such an incredibly petite system, the volume it puts out is honestly shocking—it easily fills the room without looking like a bulky piece of tech cluttering up the stand. We were looking for something that offered great value for the money, and this definitely hits the mark. The sound quality is amazing, making dialogue crisp and clear with the 'news' swetting. Setting it up was a breeze, especially since it’s Roku TV Ready, which meant we didn't have to juggle five different remotes just to get a movie started. We could use all of our roku remotes and we didn't have any weird issues with signups or logging in.We did run into a minor initial issue with the wireless subwoofer—it wasn’t syncing up or hitting quite right at first—but we figured it out pretty quickly (turned out to be a simple connection tweak). Once that was settled, the bass added that deep, cinematic punch that really makes you feel like you’re at the theater. Overall, it’s just very easy to use day-to-day, which is exactly what you need in a house with kids. It’s reliable, sounds fantastic for its size, and the setup was straightforward enough that it didn't turn into a weekend-long project. If you're looking for a solid audio upgrade that doesn't take up much space but still delivers that "wow" factor, this is definitely worth it. My one comment would be that sometimes the volume jumps in the 'movie' setting, but I'm still working on figuring it all out. ... show more

  • Impressive Sound in a Sleek Form Factor
Size: 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Subwoofer
I have been using this Westinghouse 2.1 soundbar for a bit now and it delivers solid performance for the price, even if it is not quite as immersive as some higher end setups. The wireless subwoofer adds a nice punch to movies and music, though it can feel a little boomy at times depending on where you place it, which is pretty normal for most wireless subwoofers. The soundbar itself is clear and gets loud enough for a living room without distorting, and the dialogue enhancement helps a lot with TV shows. The Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support is nice to have, but the effect is more subtle than dramatic since this is still a compact 2.1 system, so you should not expect the full overhead experience you get from larger Dolby Atmos setups. The HDMI eARC connection works smoothly and makes switching inputs easy, and Bluetooth pairs quickly without any fuss. It is also convenient that it is Roku TV Ready, since it integrates well with that interface. The build quality feels decent, though the materials are more on the lightweight side, and the remote could use better labeling. Overall, it is a good midrange option if you want better sound than your TV speakers without spending a lot. If you are familiar with basic soundbars and just want a straightforward upgrade with a wireless sub and some modern audio formats, this one gets the job done and adds a noticeable boost to everyday watching. ... show more

  • LOUD!
Size: 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Subwoofer
We got this Westinghouse 2.1 soundbar with the wireless subwoofer a couple months ago and it’s been a solid upgrade for our living room TV. The sound is clear and much fuller than the built-in TV speakers, the subwoofer adds nice bass without being overwhelming, and it was super easy to set up with HDMI eARC. Bluetooth works great for streaming music too. The only small complaint is that the Dolby Atmos feature isn’t quite as immersive as higher-end systems, but for the price it delivers really good performance. Happy with the purchase overall. ... show more

  • Great for movies – Wireless subwoofer – Worth your consideration Great for movies – Wireless subwoofer – Worth your consideration
Size: 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Subwoofer
The Westinghouse Sound Bar is a truly small speaker system that sits below your LCD screen. Needless to say, its sound is superior to the internal speakers in the monitor. It reminds me of when movie houses first installed powerful speakers. It makes a huge difference in the viewing experience. The subwoofer adds bass that can not be duplicated by any internal speaker. Bluetooth allows you to place the subwoofer where it fits best in your layout. Setup is simple as the system is compatible with Roku. The Westinghouse comes with its own remote control, which is helpful in volume control and navigating the various sound modes. All that is needed is an HDMI connection to the monitor to port over the sound feed. It is this simple. I have a black table under my TV monitor. The Westinghouse sound bar sits on it and receives the signal from the TV. The black on black devices fits well together in a discreet manner. My room size is small so 240 watts is overkill. I cannot wait for football season as the sounds of the game can be described as brutal and graceful in the same sentence Top rating. ... show more

  • Good inexpensive soundbar that COULD lose connectivity here or there
Size: 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Subwoofer
Okay, so I was REALLY excited to get this soundbar installed because I've never owned one before and I feel like it was the missing piece to our viewing experience. The good: the sound quality is excellent considering it's a Westinghouse brand product, which isn't BAD per se, but it's not necessarily associated with top-tier audio and sound quality. It's VERY easy to install and very easy to connect, making it a breeze to set up. The remote control is simple, and easy to use. It's not bogged down with a ton of functions that don't really do much and is straightforward. The bad: there are a few key missing features that I think could really take this thing to the next level. First, it doesn't really tell you what volume level the sound bar is at, especially if you're hiding the bar behind something. You just kinda gauge the volume by how you hear it - which can be a little frustrating. Second, the sound bar takes up an HDMI port but without providing a pass-thru option to ensure you don't have to disconnect one of your devices, which is what I had to do. Last, we've had the sound bar just completely lose connection about 3-4 times while watching tv pretty randomly. Meaning I couldn't reproduce the issue. I had to manually turn it off and on and unplug/replug it in to get it to work again. MAYBE it's my tv, but also my TV hasn't ever really given me issues - I'd say take it with a grain of salt, but do be aware that it could happen. Overall it wasn't too bad of a purchase though, because it is relatively inexpensive compared to other options out there, so it's not a huge loss if you can make it work for you! ... show more

  • Immersive Home Theater Experience for Whole Family- A True Home Theater
Size: 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Subwoofer
I’ve been using this Westinghouse 2.1 channel soundbar with the wireless subwoofer, and it has completely transformed our movie nights. The surround sound feels truly immersive—action movies, documentaries, and even animated films sound crisp and full, and the kids love that there’s no more muffled dialogue. Every detail comes through clearly, and the deep bass makes everything feel cinematic, giving that “wow” factor for family movie nights. The included remote controller is a fantastic feature—it makes adjusting volume, switching inputs, and toggling sound modes effortless, so you never have to leave the couch. Setup was straightforward with HDMI eARC or Bluetooth, and it works reliably every time. On top of that, the wireless subwoofer system adds a seamless connectivity experience, letting you place it anywhere in the room without messy cables. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support give an expansive, immersive soundstage that really elevates movies and music. The high RMS and max output ensure that even large rooms are filled with rich, distortion-free audio. The soundbar also offers versatile sound modes to optimize dialogue, bass, or cinematic effects depending on what you’re watching. Its sleek, modern design complements any TV setup, while the compact footprint keeps your space tidy. Whether it’s movie nights, documentaries, gaming, or music, this system adapts beautifully and makes every listening experience enjoyable. Overall, it’s a family-friendly, reliable, and immersive audio system with amazing connectivity, versatile sound modes, powerful bass, and a polished design. It truly turns ordinary TV watching into a home theater experience that everyone—from kids to adults—can enjoy. On top of everything, let me tell that connectivity is a breeze and there is no doubt it is seamless with wireless subwoofer system. This is amazing connectivity feature. ... show more

  • i’m using the HDMI eARC connection. all thumbs up. i’m using the HDMI eARC connection. all thumbs up.
Size: 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Subwoofer
I’ll admit, when I first saw this soundbar, I was a bit skeptical. I’ve been burned before with a previous purchase—at the time, I didn’t know much about soundbars and didn’t do much research. That one only put out a maximum of 50W, and it just didn’t deliver. This time around, I did a little homework. Seeing that this Westinghouse 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer is rated at up to 240W, I honestly wondered if that could really be true. Turns out—it absolutely is. The sound is loud, clear, and the bass is impressive. While I was setting it up, my wife was two rooms away. I started turning up the volume just to test it, and she came running in, shocked at how powerful it sounded. Setup was straightforward overall. I did run into one small issue while using the HDMI connection—the audio wasn’t syncing properly with the picture, which was frustrating. After stepping away and coming back with a clear head, I realized the HDMI cable simply wasn’t pushed in all the way. Once I fixed that, everything worked perfectly. The audio synced correctly, and the wireless subwoofer connected instantly. Honestly, if not for my own oversight, setup would have taken just a few minutes. For now, I have the soundbar sitting on my TV stand, even though my TV is wall-mounted. Down the line, I may experiment with placement or switch things up using the Bluetooth feature. But as it stands, I really like the clean, stylish look—and more importantly, the sound quality is outstanding. This system definitely has me looking forward to football season even more ... show more
