It’s compact enough to sit right on the counter without taking up too much space, but it still pops enough for about three decent-sized bowls—perfect for a casual movie night (we used it while watching M3GAN 2.0). It works quickly, the cleanup is super easy, and it even comes with a scoop. Just a heads-up: it doesn’t come with any popcorn, so be sure to grab your kernels separately. Works great! Highly recommended! Makes fair size batches and doesn’t take too long. Machine is smaller than picture appearance but it’s a great size for kitchen and to put away when not in use. Plastic seems flimsy but the pan is solid. Easy to clean. Very quiet other than the popping of course. For theater popcorn flavor you must use popcorn oil and/or popcorn coconut oil butter flavor; but the key ingredient is Flavacol. My recommendation is: 3/4 cups of kernels, 1.5 tbs popcorn coconut butter, 1 tbs popcorn oil, 1/2 tbs Flavacol seasoning- all in the pan at once and turn on. Turn off when popping stops. Chef’s kiss. Flavacol is very salty, so a little goes a long way. ... show more

We like the machine, it works great and is easy to use. It pops the corn just great and we use it pretty frequently and haven't had any issues. I caution the cheap at heart, such as myself, who would dare to purchase the "like new" used model. After purchasing this popcorn machine I waited with baited breath and was filled with glee on the day of it's arrival, but was soon deflated like a week old balloon when I saw the condition of the box that looked like it had been kicked down the street by a rugby team and taped together by a nearsighted preschooler. Not judging a book by it's cover, I was undaunted and tore away at the ramshackled packaging to discover a sad sad popcorn popper that looked just as dilapidated as the sloppy packaging from which it was birthed. With 50% of the plexiglass housing cracked or completely broken, the obvious signs of multiple uses by the previous owner, including oil and popcorn husks littering the interior, it's safe to assume Richard Gere would not have had a second date with this not so pretty woman. Despite the fact that a canine in similar shape would have been euthanized out of pure mercy, I rolled up my sleeves and scrubbed the filth and obvious signs of trauma off this machine and showed it that love still exists in this sometimes cruel world and I am happy to report this machine is again capable of producing a fine batch of popcorn. ... show more

Okay so this arrived and we waited all day to finally use it as a family and let me tell you, the machine worked flawlessly, no smoke, no weird plastic smell or taste. It was smooth and delicious! We popped great northern popcorn in it and then paired that with flavorcol popcorn salt and snippys popcorn oil on top and lord have mercy! It was like my childhood all over again, just delicious. The machine popped pretty quickly and in seconds had my white home smelling like a mall theater. I'm not even bothered that it doesn't keep the popcorn warm after popping as it's really good once cooled to room temperature, my only complaint is the door that extends open to get to popcorn, it's flimsy and pops in and out way to easily causing a mess if it pops out. I wish it latched in better, though I understand why it's way to easy to pop in and out. It's annoying with small kiddos who love to snack on popcorn. Little hands pull it off. It's also a bit of a pain to clean, though that's probably going to be most if not all popcorn machines soo, I'm not mad about it. Otherwise 10 out of 10 recommend this! Works good but is small and difficult to clean. Also only holds about 3 inches of popcorn in the bottom. It is difficult to get the popcorn out of without spilling it.
