I LOVE this machine! Because of health issues I now have a gag reflex and I can no longer drink water..BUT, I sure can down the snowy ice! My last crusher only gave me snowy ice if the ice was smaller. This machine prefers ‘the big stuff’, meaning like the ten pound bags of ice that have those biggish, (1” tall about) barrel shaped cubes with a hole down the center. Those are perfect! Even if they are broken in half the’re ok, BUT, when the ice pieces are smaller, they come out ‘rockier’. The company calls it ‘sandier’ but my teeth beg to differ. I use this crusher at least 3 times per day, every single solitary day! And when I wear the blades out, I hope this company is still selling this product because I will be getting another of the same. (I don’t like giving out 5 stars because you never know, like, I did have an issue with this crusher the first time I used it but that has been resolved)

Ordered this to make the shaved ice for Bingsoo and couldn't be happier with the results. It tears through a pile of ice cubes faster than anything else I've seen. I was afraid it would be slow and too much would melt before we had enough for dessert, but not a chance. Solid build and easy to use. My only regret perhaps is that I would have liked the hopper to hold more ice, and the unit to sit higher so we could put a larger container under it. Otherwise it's a great unit.

I just received the product yesterday. However we did test it out and it is so easy to use and it shaves the ice so fast! I can’t speak to the longevity of the product but appears to be made very well! We really enjoyed it!
