The WERHY 8.5'' Electric Scooter exceeded my expectations from the first use. The 350W motor has very good power, accelerates smoothly but firmly and reaches up to 19 MPH, ideal for both daily journeys and longer rides. One of its biggest strengths is the double suspension, which is really noticeable when driving on irregular roads; the trip is much more comfortable and stable compared to other scooters I have tried. The 8.5-inch wheels offer good grip and control. The autonomy is excellent, depending on the mode of use it can yield between 16 and 22 miles, more than enough to go to and from work, school or run errands without worrying about the battery. In addition, the dual braking system provides safety and confidence when stopping, even at higher speed. I love that it is foldable and light, which makes it easy to store it in the car or at home. The quality of the materials feels solid and well built, ideal for both teenagers and adults. Low noise In summary, it is a powerful, safe and comfortable electric scooter, with very good value for money. I bought this scooter from the seller, and it worked for about 3 months before it stopped. When I opened the underdeck, I saw that the plastic wire covering had melted because the wire got extremely hot. I took pictures of the scooter and sent them to the seller. They claimed the motor was broken and offered to send a replacement motor. However, when I asked about the overheating issue, they ignored my question and kept pushing for the motor replacement. Overheating is a major risk that could cause a fire or explosion. This is clearly a defective scooter, so I requested a return and refund. The seller refused, claiming the order had passed the return deadline. It’s absurd that a seller can distribute a defective product, and then deny a return refund.

Amazing scooter. I read a million reviews and finally took a chance on this one. It’s definitely taller than I thought. I didn’t check out the measurements. Has lots of power. Made sure I got one that could carry my weight. I’m 220lbs and this thing carries me at top speed with no issues. Oh! And the shocks are amazing. Long battery life. Folds down and fits well in my trunk. It does have some weight on it but I carry it just fine. The app is also very easy to use. Able to customize your ride. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a great scooter for a great price! Bought it originally for my 9 year olds birthday. At first, I was a little worried because it looked really big for him, but it’s not at all. He can manage it just fine and will not outgrow it quickly like the smaller ones. My 16 and 21 year olds also love to ride it and my husband had me order another one for him to go riding with my 9 year old. Fun for the whole family! Folds up super easy and is not too heavy to transport! The lights are great for evening time and the app is easy to use!

It’s been great and reliable, BUT, the description says 19/22 mph…and it doesn’t. I got this for my husband to scooter around with our two tweens, and it is slow. My husband says “they just smoke me!”. By the time he got to the entrance of their school to leave, our kids were past the light and hall way down the sidewalk. So, great reliable scooter but it goes 1-2mph slower than many of the other “regular”scooters and that makes a huge difference for kids cruising around with their friends. FYI

Bought two. One is great. After a few months of light use, the second one is dead. I'm guessing a bad battery. It "charges" and will run for about 10 feet and die. Might have been a lemon but didn't have this problem until outside the return window. Otherwise great quality for the price. Fast and with a long range. Our boys love(d) them.

To start off, the brakes on this scooter are very weak. To me, this is the most disappointing and concerning thing about this product. Traveling at full speed and realizing your brakes aren’t strong enough to stop you adequately can easily leave you careening towards an intersection and into traffic. The weak brakes a Very concerning. Otherwise, the battery power seems pretty mediocre. After just a few rides I’ve noticed the scooter’s ability to get up to full speed on a flat road has dropped significantly, and I’m about 160lbs (not pushing the weight design spec at all). After only having it for a few weeks the scooter gets up to 15mph easily, but 22mph is a long struggle and it might not even make it there on a flat road— and that’s in “sport” mode. The different speed settings (eco, drive, sport) really make no difference. Eco is just extra slow. If you live somewhere with any kind of cracks and bumps, I’d say the dual suspension is a bare minimum. Also, the fact that the handlebars can be unscrewed and disconnected makes it very difficult to lock this scooter up securely without it being able to be stolen. Overall, I’m not exactly disappointed in my purchase but I wouldn’t say there’s a whole lot of “bang for your buck” with this one. I got the upgraded model with the dual suspension and it’s really just the bare basics that a scooter should accomplish. Not a whole lot happening for $300.
