The media could not be loaded. Right out of the packaging the coat seems very nice. The fur trim is nicer than expected (although it engulfs my face when the hood is up, but is removable). Zippers are smooth, however it may take some getting used to the double zipper. The pockets are lined with fleece which is REALLY nice. I use my pockets frequently when on walks and it was a must for the pockets to be at the sides, not the front. I look forward to trying it out tonight and this weekend. It's windy and cold today and snow is coming, so I'll get to see how warm this coat really is. The sleeves are on the longer side but comfortable. The waist does have a drawstring but it does not give much shape. I love the length of the coat and it will help keep snow from blowing up my back when bending over. Only con thus far is the inside pocket is not very deep and does not buckle or zip (so don't put anything valuable in it) and the lining of the inside of the coat seems a little thin, so not sure of the durability. Order your normal size. I am a size 10 and like my shirts and jackets with a little bit of room so I usually get size large. I got size large in this coat and it's a bit roomy, able to fit a sweater under and still have room to move. A medium would probably fit and look nice but would prob feel somewhat restricted if wearing something heavier underneath. I got this coat for maximum warmth and water resistantcy, as I camp a lot and will spend hours outdoors in the low 30s.

I like that the fabric used is tear resistant and also very water resistant, but while new, it crunches - makes noise, kind of stiff. I like that it tightens at the waist but that doesn't mean it's form fitting - hips flare out when waist is cinched. The hood takes a bit of dexterity to snap the two snaps to keep it on my head but I can wear the hood with a hoody underneath and that helps keep the coat hood on while unsnapped unless I'm facing the wind. The length of sleeves is perfect. Coat itself could have been maybe an inch longer but still perfect as is. The metal zipper is a mentioned feature. At first, it seemed being metal, made the zipper unsmooth in closing and opening but I got the hang of it. I LOVE all the pockets, one reason why I chose this coat. It is warm and good quality, and I like the color green a lot. I'm 5'2", 110 pounds and the size small fits me well, with or without a layer underneath. I recommend this coat! Update December 7, 2022; So far, I discovered that two pockets were not completely sewn. The biggest faux pas was the inside chest pocket that I use. Imagine my horror when I couldn't find my wallet. It had slipped through the big unsewn hole into the lining of the coat. A potential customer asked if the fur strip could be taken off the hood. I answered no but I was wrong. The fur could be unzipped off. I still recommend this coat but be ready with needle and thread on hand.

BEST COAT EVER!! Bought this for a winter trip to Iceland. Wore it prior to the trip and it is amazing!! Wore it there and it is warm, water/wind resistant. It was so inexpensive and was amazing! For all the money I have spent on fancy name brand coats, this is my go to! Fleece lined pockets, oversized hood, dries quickly. 5/5 stars!! And looks great on! I went up a size to wear sweaters etc under knowing I planned layers but it is very warm.

Bought this on sale ($35) for a trip to Iceland in January (I live in Florida, so no parkas needed there). It was exactly what I needed: warm, weatherproof and stylish. For me, I had to remove the fur on the hood because it was falling over my eyes, but it was great to have that option. Versatile jacket with lots of pockets. Weather in Iceland was cold and snowy and the jacket kept me warm and dry. I did size up just to be sure I had enough room for layering and it worked well.

I originally picked this coat for its stylish fur hood and its shade of olive green. Green being my favorite color I obviously gravitated to this specific coat because I felt that this coat and the brand were a good representation of who I am and gave me the ability to show off my personality while staying warm. I also appreciated the fact that it was a plus-size coat and it was still very flattering on me and my figure! Definitely a win-win for me considering that the cost was inexspensive. I loved this coat!

I read so many reviews about the zipper going bad but I got a coupon for this coat and decided to give it a chance. I am approaching winter #3 in Michigan with this coat and I really like it! Zipper is kind of heavy duty so I think they might have fixed the issue. I love this coat because it cinches in the middle so I don't look so grumpy. It is rain resistant and as far as I'm concerned, I'd call it weatherproof. Rain/Snow just beads off. Looking forward to year #4 with this coat. Oh, also, the inside is soft and a little fuzzy which is nice.
