Description

WEN CT1065 10-Amp 6.5-Inch Plunge Cut Sidewinder Circular Track Saw Remember when your saw stayed on the right track? Keep your cuts on the straight and narrow with the WEN 10-Amp Sidewinder Plunge Cut Track Saw. The WEN Track Saw provides users the same results as a table or panel saw in a compact and portable package. Simply lay the track (not included – model CT9502) along the desired surface for a clean and smooth cut. The WEN Track Saw is the perfect companion for ripping plywood, trimming doors, building furniture, and any other application needing long, precise cuts. Our powerful 10-amp motor rotates the 6-1/2 inch blade up to 5500 times per minute, letting you power through even the hardest of woods. Bevel the saw 45 degrees to the left to create angled cuts in boards up to 1-5/8 inches thick. Set the depth gauge anywhere from 0 to 2-1/3 inches to control how deep the saw plunges. The 12 x 6-5/8 inch base features precision grooves that let the saw glide smoothly along the track. However, the saw can also exist on its own as a plunge saw, relying on its flat base for maximum stability and precision. Easily switch between three different blade settings: one for scoring cuts that go 1/8-inch deep, one for full plunge cuts, and one to simplify blade changes. The non- slip base cams reduce pinching and minimizes kickback. The back-mounted dust port allows for attachment to your favorite dust collection system to control sawdust and limit cleanup. Simply attach your dust collection device of choice and start sawing. Compatible with the WEN CT9502 100-Inch Track and the WEN CT992F Track Saw Clamps. And, because it’s a WEN product, your WEN 10-Amp Plunge Cut Circular Track Saw comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, and a friendly customer helpline, all to make sure you remember WEN. WEN CT9502 100-Inch Track Saw Track Guide Rail and Adapters Remember when you could keep your saw on the straight and narrow? The WEN 100-Inch Track Saw Track provides the perfect support for your WEN CT1065 Track Saw. Simply line the track along the preferred cut and get to slicing. This set features two 50-inch tracks, two adapter pieces, and a sawdust-controlling rubber lip to minimize clean-up. The adapter set includes 4 set screws, allowing for maximum stability during operation. Securely clamp the guide rail to your preferred work piece with the WEN CT992F Track Saw Clamps (sold separately) to make straight and precise cuts over 8 feet in length. Our universal design is also compatible with the majority of track saws on the market, including Evolution, Makita and Festool. It’s time to get the precision of a table saw with the ease of a circular saw. Remember when you could saw perfectly straight? Remember WEN.

  • great bang for the buck track saw.
Style: Track Saw + Rail and Adapters
top notch product, the dust collection isn't the greatest, but it's doable, has plenty of power to cut though 2" hardwood material and after some adjustments to the guide it makes a very straight accurate cut. the track if you just slide it together and tighten down the set screws will NOT be straight, i used a 6' level to hold mine in alignment while i tightened the set screws and now it's perfect, i do NOT disassemble it, when not being used i store it on top of my lumber wrack where it's fully supported and remains fully assembled and straight. i don't have a need to use it outside the shop but if i did i'd likely go with a different brand track that has better alignment when assembled. ... show more

  • Value!!!
Style: Track Saw + Rail and Adapters
As a professional that uses the black and green high end track saw on an almost daily basis I did not expect too much from this unit. I wanted a saw I could leave on a job site and not worry about it walking. This saw surprised me. It works very well. The blade that came with it could be better but I expected that. Simple enough upgrade. What I didn’t expect was what good saw this actually is. Accurate and easy to use. Tracks are are good with a nice length to them. Easy to transport. I used this with a new blade to cut some 1mm thick plywood. Perfect. 3/4” plywood cuts were perfect. Absolutely no complaints. Is this the same quality as my other saw? No but it is pretty darn close. For the craftsperson that needs a track saw for occasional use I would highly recommend this one. Plus I don’t worry about it “walking away “ ... show more

  • good value for the occasional user
Style: Track Saw + Rail and Adapters
I use this to break down sheet goods, and for that it works well. This is the only track saw I've ever used. All the knobs and adjustment work but are not precise and look like they might break easily. I didn't want to spend a fortune and this saw is perfectly adequate for my needs. My one dislike is anti-kickback mechanism. It is a soft disk that rubs against the track, making it more difficult than it should to insert the saw into the track and to push. ... show more

  • Really Good Saw for the Money
Style: Track Saw + Rail and Adapters
Building a dining table out of 8/4 red oak. Ripping the lumber for the glue ups was too precarious for my jobsite table saw set up, so I decided to get this track saw. The price was the deciding factor. It worked fairly well. It had enough power and depth to cut through the lumber. I wish I would have purchased another piece of track, as the pieces being straight lined were 9-12' long. Trying to move the track and line it up perfectly with the previous cut was a challenge. The fasteners that hold the saw to the track are a bit of a hassle at times. Overall this is a very good track saw if you don't have the money for the fancy brands. ... show more

  • Worth it.
Style: Track Saw + Rail and Adapters
I’ve always wanted a track saw. It has increased my precision and is just a great option that doesn’t brake the bank. I do find that sometime the cord gets stuck on the wood while cutting large sheet goods. But this is so minor.

  • Great saw
Style: Track Saw + Rail and Adapters
Works great with the track and cuts clean. The vacuum port is odd sized and does not connect with shop vac; doesn’t work with any of the connectors sold at any stores.

  • Very, Very Nice
Style: Track Saw + Rail and Adapters
I wish I’d bought this years ago. It makes cutting sheet goods almost too easy and produces boards with straight even edges that can then be assembled into all kinds of stuff. I use a lot of 3/4” Advantec subflooring for making yard boxes and workshop furniture. With this saw I get edges that are so straight they can be glued with some hope of staying put though I also use screws everywhere. The saw is mostly plastic, and the first one I got was defective, but it’s consistent and pretty usable once you get the hang of it. It is not good enough for professional use but for a couple of times a month it’s the sweet spot. Also the track itself can be used easily with other saws, like my battery powered 4” Dewalt, when an absolutely perfect edge is not required. This track assembles into a very rigid structure though you need to take care with it - you can’t wing it around like a 2x4. The WEN clamp set is a must have too, they look a little cheap but they work very, very well. I couldn’t be happier ... show more

  • Underpowered
Style: Track Saw + Rail and Adapters
This saw is underpowered. Struggled to cut 3/4” plywood, even with a new Freud blade. Having said that, it helped get the job done easier and safer.
