Besides being great looking, these knives are incredibly sharp. Makes cooking so easy. I didn't realize how bad my old set was until I got these. I haven't had to use the sharpener yet but they wash up beautifully.

I purchased these knives as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law as they have been married 5 years and have no good knives. They arrived timely and intact. My son unpacked them and set them on the counter and they paired well with the decor. He used them the next morning to prepare shrimp and grits for breakfast. My girlfriend is a hairdresser who uses shears that are very similar in the color pattern that this is made in and she wanted something similar and I found these that were actually better according to reviews and to no disappointment she is absolutely loving this set of knives and I'm so happy that she is head over heels with the quality the look and the usage of this knife block and knife set I definitely recommend this to anybody else who understands that taking care of something that is a precious knife set, takes some tender love and care because if you don't care for them then yes they will spot and show blemishes but if you care about your cutlery then show it the dignity that it deserves and you will have some fine cutlery that will shine whenever everybody else comes around and you try to show them how great it is

I LOVE these knives. They match my other kitchen utensils. I hand wash only, no dishwasher, just to be sure I keep them pretty. I've been told you aren't supposed to dish wash knives anyway as it makes them dull faster. The built in sharpener is super nice too. I sharpen before each use. Overall I absolutely recommend these knives.
