I would consider myself an office chair snob. My prior daily drivers have been Steelcase or Herman Miller. I transitioned to a standing desk and got rid of my chairs, but now that I have a new remote job that involves a ton of data input (not to mention I'm getting old and decrepit and standing hurts now), I needed a new chair. I contemplated getting a used high end chair online but this one presented itself so I thought I'd give it a try. From unboxing to sitting, this may be one of my favorite chairs, I'll tell you why: → Assembly 5/5. Came together very easily. All parts and tools are included and thoughtfully grouped together by "step" versus a random collection of numbered and lettered pieces. Each section of the parts bag had exactly enough screws and washers for that step. Instructions were clear and well written. → Fit and Finish 5/5. I previously got a similar but more expensive chair from Hbada but ditched it because it had some cheap components (crap wheels, creaky lumbar piece, bad chromed plastic finish). This has coherent design and high end pieces end to end. This is the first chair that includes rollerblade-style wheels out of the box, previously I'd have to purchase them as a day one replacement. (If you haven't discovered the sheer joy of VERY FAST rollerblade wheels for your office chair, do it now. Makes it zoom over hardwood and low pile carpet). Oh, and they give you 5 wheels plus an extra bonus bright orange wheel for ***SASS*** just because. You bet your hide I slapped on the orange one. → Comfort and customization 5/5. This is very adjustable, maybe not to the point of a high end Herman Miller, but I get adjustable/swivelable armrests, a recline lock, and EXTRA LIFT HEIGHT. I think this can lift about 2" higher than any other office chair I've had, so much so that I can dangle my feet (and I'm 5'9"). If you've always had a problem with your office chairs being not high enough but don't need something as high as a drafting stool, this might be your solution. Lumbar piece is comfortable without being obtrusive. Headrest isn't as cushy as I'd like but I don't sit back that often. Recline has adjustable tension and is deep enough to relax but not so far back you feel like you're falling over. → Aesthetics 4/5. As mentioned before I really like the orange wheel for a pop of color, and it's a modern mix of matte and gloss black. Not obtrusive but not really eye catching either. I wish I was able to get the white one (and I'm waiting for these chair companies to start offering some flashy color combos, I'd like to see bright orange or navy or hunter green or something). Overall, I am very happy with this chair so far and it has my highest recommendation!

I've been looking at a variety of office chairs for awhile now and struggling to find one chair which met all my needs, so I'm happy to report this chair checks off almost all my requirements. Everything was very well-packed, with all the required tools included and each step sectioned off and matching the instruction sheet, which surprisingly had great details and was mostly very easy to follow. I had only one glitch while assembling, and I think if I had known this one tip I could've easily assembled in thirty minutes or less, but since I got hung up on this one part it took me closer to 45 minutes. In the instructions, it actually looks like the easiest part of the assembly: place the seat on top of the base. There are no tools require to do this, so it seems like you just place the already-assembled chair onto the already-assembled based and slightly push down, but I could not make this happen until I realized that there is a small washer with a gap (see the red arrow) and the base has small flared out sides (the circled portions). These areas need to more or less align for it to "just pop in" like the instructions say. I was so afraid of breaking something I didn't want to use force, and once I figured out this little finesse, you really don't need force because it will click into place like it's supposed to, it just doesn't point these areas out in the instructions. Maybe this is obvious, but it wasn't for me so it made the assembly slightly more difficult than it needed to be. Everything else came together super easily. The one thing this chair doesn't meet is that it's black, and I really wish it came in a cute color like pink, BUT it does come with one orange wheel which you can use just to be jaunty, so I did and like it very much. The very best part is that both arms are adjustable in multiple ways: vertically, horizontally, and even side-to-side. This has been a tremendous improvement to my mouse-arm, and has dramatically lessened my wrist and shoulder pain from repeated mouse use all day. I like the depth of the seat, which can be adjusted to be wider or shallower as you like, and the lever to adjust the chair height is smooth and easy to use. Overall, this is a fantastic chair that will meet your ergonomic needs, if not your aesthetic wants, but I was having so many problems with my old chair that I gladly gave up the look for the comfort, and I'm so happy I did.
