Blue Buffalo Basics Turkey & Potato Recipe for Cats Grain Free Dry Cat Food, 5 lb Bag Purina ONE Dry Cat Food, Sensitive Systems Meow Mix (Her OLD food, what she WAS eating) Fancy feast (She doesn't like it.. Didn't like it when I gave her a choice between the meow mix and fancy feast) YES, I did put her Meow Mix with the rest of the dishes. They are 5 white small dishes CORELLE. She is spoiled.. She also get's Zero Water, with 000 ppm. as her drinking water, also CORELLE large bowl. So.. here's the results. I bought these 24 hours ago from Amazon, and it's very clear that she likes the Wellness CORE. All the bowls were layed out for her.. She could of choosen any of them.. She did in the beginning.. she did taste all of them.. She definitely doesn't like the Purina ONE Sensitive systems food. Umm.. As you can clearly see, she likes the Wellness CORE. I was rooting for the Blue or the Wellness.. The Blue Buffalo is actually more expensive then the Wellness, but she really likes the Wellness, so I guess I'll be buying her a nice 12lb bag for $40 when I'm ready. So, I hope this little post helps anyone trying to find a good replacement for dry foods like Meow Mix, or whatever.. I didn't really mind her eating the meow mix, but boy o boy, she really does like the Wellness now, a crap load more than the Meow mix.. She's scarfing it down !! lol.. So five stars.. that's what I'm putting and I have no regrets marking it 5 stars either. It's healthy for her. It's no grains in it or fillers, and it's got real turkey, which is why that's what I bought her, because I know she likes Turkey flavor.. Fancy Feast Medleys Primavera is what I feed her for wet food, but I'm trying to get her off it, and actually, she's being really fussy, is one of the main reasons why I wanted to get something a little better for her.. So Wellness CORE is what it is right now, and I'm happy she likes it.

Honestly the griping about this cat food is absurd. If you feed your cat the kibble equivalent of MCDONALD'S for their whole life, they probably won't adapt well to nutritious cat food like this. By all means keep trying to convert them to healthy food, if you manage to soon enough maybe the garbage they were raised with won't cost them renal failure. But when they turn their noses up, don't blame Wellness for the rejection, that's entirely your fault for setting their food bar that low in the first place. Our own cats absolutely love this food. They were raised on the chicken flavor and I added this kibble for variety in their food puzzles. Our cats love this food so much that when their puzzles with this flavor run empty our boy Odin follows me around the house crying until I refill them. I have nothing but praise for Wellness and their cat food products. We feed our boys Wellness wet and dry food every day and they get the Kittles cat treats too. Every time we take them to the vet the staff are floored at how incredibly healthy our cats are. Their weight and muscle tone is perfect for indoor cats, they have perfect color and energy, perfect vitals (even as seniors), and their coats are the most ridiculous luxurious cat fur on Earth. Our cats are fluffier and softer than chinchillas, and it's all thanks to Wellness! Really sucks for the kitties stuck on Meow Mix, when they rub their greasy, lifeless, rough fur on my leg for affection I can tell they're on a real garbage diet. To all the 1 star reviews, with health that obviously poor you aren't fooling anyone.

I have tried other similar and overpriced brands and Wellness CORE Grain-Free Original Formula Dry Cat is one of the best out there, and reasonable price. The other brands I had used and double in price had to offer absolutely nothing more in compare to this oner. So I'll continue to use the Wellness. My cat likes it. His Medium Long coat is soft and sleek, and silky. His weight is slim and muscular, due to my way of not over feeding my precious friend. My cat also loves the Wet Wellness Core. The protein content must be satisfying as my gorgeous cat eats well, but doesn't over eat. I recommend it.

Dry cat food isn't very good so my picky kitty gets 90% wet and 10% dry because she likes it, I can mix it with goat milk which she's not a fan of by itself and because dry food is great to have in emergency situations because I don't have to refrigerate it. She's very picky when it comes to food but is happy to eat any flavor of Wellness Core dry food. I alternate to give her a variety. The individual kibbles are smaller than most dry cat food. She's particular about size, dry or wet food has to be smaller to please her. She's British Shorthair and their breed is naturally big and chunky but her food has to small in size or else she'll grumble and fuss directly at you. I haven't tried the treats yet but they're chicken flavored so I think she'll eat them. The expiration date was good, bag came sealed, food looks fresh and kitty has eaten some already so I'm pleased.
