This cordless one-handed reciprocating saw is lightweight at only 3.13 lbs. And 37% lighter than the DCS367 compact reciprocating saw (tool only). It is equipped with an LED to help illuminate dark workspaces and provides up to 2, 800 SPM to help get the job done. The pivoting shoe and variable speed trigger provide added control for a variety of jobs. This kit includes one 20V max 5.0 Ah battery, charger, belt hook, tool bag, and two blades.

Dewalt is a very good brand. Their battery power is remarkable and they are very reliable. This is very easy to hold in one hand. Where is you usually need two hands to hold a reciprocating saw. This allows for maneuverability and using it for some different tasks because it is smaller than a reciprocating saw, and therefore can fit into different places. It is not heavy. It is easy to use. It’s good value for the money because it will be working for years to come as long as you know how to maintain tools. It comes with the bag. It comes with the battery. It comes with a unit and two blades I recommend buying a blade pack because you should have one not everything is the two blades they sent you. You can rest easy knowing your money as well Spent with this brand. I have many brands of tools and power tools. Their tools hold up the batteries hold up against the test of time. I have an impact driver and drill that I’ve had the same two batteries for the last 4 to 5 years minimum and they still charge up faster than anything else. ITheir tools hold up the batteries hold up against the test of time. I do use it to cut up cardboard into smaller pieces and as long as you have a work table and a place that will hold the cardboard for you. You only need one hand to hold the cardboard and the other hand to hold the tool. I just recommend putting it on the table so it’s high up and you can control the angle of the cut easier. It is definitely the best thing to cut thick cardboard down to size on the market. Those power scissors do not cut the box that a tablesaw would come in. they wouldn’t stand a chance this thing cut it like it was butter. The only reason I say I don’t recommend it for cutting up cardboard is because I feel it’s a waste of the tool but if you have a hard time cutting up cardboard, or have a crazy amount of industrial-strength cardboard to deal with this is your item …I hope this helps. ... show more

WOW! This is everything it says it is! It's light. It's ergonomic very easy to use. Very little vibration. The vibration is one of the main reasons I ordered this. I'm very pleased. The battery lasted under very heavy use. I got the job done and lots of battery juice left over. A bonus is the tool did not over heat. And the noise level is lower than other sawsalls. I primarily use this as a pruner or for cutting up smaller branches and twigs for kindling that were too small to do with a chainsaw. I have 2 acres of woods, so there always is something else to cut, every storm brings down more of this stuff that I'd previously cut with a hand saw - saves me a bit of effort, and time as well.
