  • Skinny dog with constant itching
Flavor Name: Chicken Blend - 15 LB
Our Rottweiler is probably picker than our daughter, who happens to be a toddler. I've probably spent thousands of dollars just trying to get it right for Brutus and failing over and over again, a battle that I was rapidly losing. I've switched from high to low. I've gone from one flavor to the next to the more expensive brands like Merrick and Purina Pro Plan to the more affordable options like Taste of the wild and Authority, etc. ect. You name it, I've probably already tried it. There were also times I would upcycle his food and I would do so by adding different dog friendly options to his diet but to my dismay I would find myself having a meeting with a mostly filled bowl. It was disheartening to say the least and it actually tore me apart... You know? You'd expect your biggest critic to be yourself or maybe even your partner but my biggest critic was in fact the biggest food critic on the planet and that critic happened to be my own dog, a dog with a strong diva streak and he was quick to turn his nose up to anything that he didn't like. He would walk away without taking a second glance. I quickly began to notice that he was losing weight, which is why I was doing what I was doing in the first place. He gradually got to the point where he was barely touching his food. He's had me worried sick. Brutus is still in the filling out stage and at 2 years and 3 months old he's still just a puppy. Unfortunately, on top of his eating issue, he gained yet another problem.... He started constantly chewing and scratching himself. I even switched him back to his old salmon food and to my dismay it did not help with his constant gnawing and itching. I'm a veterinary assistant and he's on nexgard flea and tick preventive from my work. No irratating fleas here. I knew he was only experiencing issues from the dry food(s) that he was ingesting. So, I decided to give Bully Max a try and I'm glad that I did! He was smelling the air as soon as I opened the bag. Brutus was actually interested in food? Whhaaat? I couldn't believe it. I poured it into his bowl and he's been eating it for a couple of days now but I've already noticed a change. He's actually excited to eat! He's never been excited to eat before. He absolutely loves it and he's almost completely stopped scratching all together! If he hears me either touching his bowl or the bag of Bully Max, he's already there waiting and staring me down while happily wagging his nub. I can't wait to see how he's doing in a few months from now. I've honestly cried tears of joy. Thank you Bully Max! Thank you. ... show more

  • Great food
Flavor Name: Chicken Blend - 40 LB
Great dog food. It makes your dogs. It's thicken up very well, and it lasts a long time.Because the dogs don't need to eat so much.

  • Too Early to Tell Anything
Flavor Name: Chicken Blend - 40 LB
Seems like a solid food for dogs. We have a Corso that was loosing a lot of muscle mass. She’s been on this food for a week or two, too early to see results, but she seems to like the taste. However the pieces are extremely small and she has a difficult time eating it.

  • High protein
Flavor Name: Chicken Blend - 5 LB
This did a good job adding extra protein for our Benji! He gained those muscles and made his appearance look incredible. I am a little bummed that the price is a bit high for us. However how well our pup loves it we will be grabbing another one. The effectiveness of this product is worth the money spent. ... show more

  • It definitely works
Flavor Name: Chicken Blend - 5 LB
I started my pup on bully max and she loved it. She gained 9 pounds in two weeks and although not a bully breed ( German Shepherd/ Lab)she came from the rescue shelter underweight. The only downside is that it’s on the expensive side. A 40lb bag runs over 150 dollars a bag. However the food meets the hype. I’m very selective about the kibble I feed my dogs and bully max is one of the few I recommend. ... show more
