Overall, I liked this chandelier for its looks and its solid construction. However it is far from perfect. The write up on Amazon is perfectly correct in stating about assembly that "previous experience better". Indeed the instructions are pictorial only and of poor quality. I was left in doubt about several steps, had to guess, and hopefully guessed correctly. I think this is in part due because the manufacturer uses the same package for all markets and wanted to skimp on the cost of translating the instructions into multiple languages. One annoying fault in the design of the product is that the wheel is suspended by 4 rods which are attached to rings via open hooks. While you move the chandelier even slightly (and you have to to suspend it), the rods slip off the hooks very easily. You adjust one and two more slip off. After a few minutes of frustration I decided to tape the hooks to the rings with duct tape, so in 8 points. It worked, but after suspending the chandelier and making all the electric connections, it took me a long time to take off the tape and the residue it had left on the chandelier. Would it have been so expensive to have hooks that have a spring-loaded closure like a carabiner?! Another, but fairly minor complaint is that the lamp assemblies are attached to the body of the chandelier via a slit and it takes very little contact to remove them unintentionally, for instance when you screw in the bulbs or if you work near the chandelier and brush slightly against it by mistake. All in all, it took me a couple of hours to complete the installation. That said, I would buy this chandelier again. If there was an option I would give it 4.5 stars. As there is rating inflation and I gave it 5 stars as anything less is considered bad. ... show more

I was looking for a fixture to sit over a dining room table in a rustic country home with a great room This seemed to fit the bill and upon assembly I have not been disappointed. While it is not fancy, and would not be mistaken for wrought iron, for its price it is a very good value. Assembly was straight forward. All the parts were present and all went together easily. As the room has a very high ceiling, I could not attach the fixture to a ceiling outlet. Instead I detached the top plate and suspended the fixture between two beams, using black metal chain. I connected the fixtures wires to a run of lamp wire and connected this to an outlet dimmer. It works very well using 40 watt equivalent LED candle bulbs. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wish i had about 5 more inches to lower it, it’s shorter than any other chandelier I’ve bought so we have it the lowest it can go. My ceiling is pretty high though. This is a great looking light and works well for our breakfast nook/informal dining room. It isn't blinding but has plenty of light to light up the room. The chandelier is beautiful, but I ordered a black one and received the brown one. It was installed on my 20 foot ceiling so I needed an electrician. I didn’t know I received the wrong color until the electrician already arrived, and opened the box to begin the install, so it was too late to send the chandelier back. Beautiful light fixture. Really fit in with our rustic decor. You can put 60 Watt on each bulb (there are 8 bulbs) and now we have a really bright entrance. Seller was really responsive. We droppped one of the metal arm and it broke. Upon messaging the seller, she was happy to mail the extra metal hand. Now I have a complete fixture! Thank you so much!!! We love your service and product!! Ps: if you have a high ceiling like me, leave out the extra arms when installing, so you won't have a mishap and break the arm. I never leave a review but I had to with this product. I absolutely love my chandelier. It was a bit cheaper than a 6 bulb one from Lowes. At first I didn't think I was going to be able to assemble it. After looking at the directions and pictures it became very easy to assemble. However, I did have a neighbor install it because there was no way I was going to try that. It looks so nice and matches my decor perfectly!!
