Got this for an interior office door of a building I own. I’ve removed and installed quite a few locks over the years, including a number of smart locks and key pad locks—none of them gave me the installation problems this one did. The instructions are subpar; the first issue I had was choosing which screw-in bolts to use to connect to two halves (inside and outside) of the lock—this instructions just say, “for thicker door, use these screws, for thinner door, use these,” without any information on the parameters for what is thick and what is thin. So I used the wrong screw and it got stuck in the part it screws into. I had to spend several minutes disconnecting the screw. Very frustrating, but also a sign of poor quality materials. Once the front and back were finally connected, I tired to connect the electronic tab into the pin on the inside handle—but it wouldn’t connect and I soon discovered one of the pins was bent (second picture). It wasn’t easy to straighten it but eventually I got it straight and connected the tab. Also very frustrating. The easiest part was downloading the App and then adding codes, fingerprints and programming the RFID pads. While the app is convenient it’s also curious that you can’t add codes or users without it. So far the fingerprint, code, and RFID pads have all worked well. I like that the fingerprint reader is on the handle, other locks I’ve installed have the reader on the keypad. It’s a little odd that there isn’t a way to lock the door from the inside, you have to rely on the auto lock function, which doesn’t bother me but could be a problem for some. I wouldn’t recommend using this as an exterior door lock—the materials are simply not sturdy or heavy duty enough for that level of security. Overall, this lock is good but not great, it’s suitable for many situations but is also limited by lesser quality materials. ... show more

Lock was easy to install and get setup. Uses TTLOCK app used by some other locks. I ran into an issue with the auto-relock when I still had the handle turned partially which caused the handle to be locked to a midway position. Be aware that this could occur and I would either not use auto-lock or use a longer delay to be sure you don't have the handle in a partially opened position. It's a decent inexpensive solution for interior doors where you want to keep honest people honest but it appears all the locking functionality is on the outside unit as the interior unit just has the handle and batteries/electronics. The hardware key function appears to unlock/lock the mechanism on the outside. It suits my purpose just fine to keep the kids and people who may be working in the house out of an office or other area I don't want them in or to limit their access to certain times etc. The numerous options for access settings are nice as well with keycodes, physical standard keys, RFID keys and eKeys using the app and my favorite for my use, fingerprints. I had a room with my resin 3D printer and other items I wanted to keep restricted from the kids but it only had a deadbolt and I would have to fetch my keys to lock the door every time I wanted to secure that room. The installation was easy. I did replace an existing keyless lock. The quality seems fine but I’ve only been using it for a week. Our previous lock lasted two year before one of the rubber buttons fell off. I like this one doesn’t have rubber buttons. The touch screen is nice and I like it has a privacy feature that if you hit the wrong number it doesn’t matter. As long as you get the last number sequence correct before you hit the pound sign you are good to go. This is helpful if you have sausage fingers and mess up the code. The keys, keycard, app, and touch screen all work fine. The thumb print I have had trouble with. It’s a 50/50 chance if it will work. Not really an issue for me because I prefer the keypad. The one main feature I would have preferred is a physical thumb lock on the door handle inside. Just to see that the door was locked. Or to be able to lock it quickly without my phone. It has an auto lock feature I’ve been messing with but I use that door randomly through the day while I’m home and do not like having to unlock it everytime. Overall I’m happy with this lock. Seems to have way to many feature. But if one breaks I have several options to still get in my house. ... show more
