I installed one inside the building and really like it. The numbers show up Great. The fingerprint works well when we use it. I am keeping that Door Lock. I installed 2 locks in outside doors. We couldn't see the key pad numbers in the daylight or sun. I painted numbers on the key pad and then could operate the door locks. It appeared to have trouble with the fingerprint pad when the sun was shining. It would take 3-4 trys to get it to operate the lock and sometimes still wouldn't work. I would like to return these two door locks for a refund and keep the one if that is possible ... show more

This is the second "smart lock" I have owned and it was a lot cheaper than the first one, but it is WAY better!! Everything works as it should and it was easier and cleaner to install than the previous one. And it has already lasted longer than the last one (Turbolock brand). I do have the minor issue that I see others having about the fingerprint reader not working in rain, but it's a really simple fix, just dry it and your finger with your shirt real quick and it works fine, lol! It is so easy to program and you can make it read just about any keyfob you might already have. I programmed my gym fob to it and it works great. The only thing about this I don't love is the batteries only seem to last about 6 months, but it is still well worth the 5 stars with that. ... show more

I installed this finger print door lock in the garage door that enters the house, because I always walk in to the garage and lock my self in (the door swings shut on its own). So after being locked in my garage probably 20-30 times in the last 7 years I decided to install this devices. It works great. I found easy to install even though I had to drill an extra hole in my door. The devices user interface could be better but it gets the job done, I don't worry about locking myself in the garage any more. And the kids lover using their finger print to open the door. As far as safety it looks and feels very durable. You also get a key just in case, it runs on battery. We haven't had any battery issues. ... show more
