The media could not be loaded. I was expecting how cheap this thing looks for it to explode in my hands, but instead it made a decent weld. Of course it's not the greatest welder but for the price it is far better than what I thought it was going to be this little handheld black piece of junk without any safety features is absolutely amazing. Ps order a face shield the one that comes with it is almost unusable. Wish it was orange or yellow with warning symbols on it.

I am an accomplished welder, but this device with no instructions, no way to plug in to current, and even a bad U Tube use video was a bad choice.

I have been fighting with this machine, stuck rods, lost arc, blobbbbbbbby bloby welding. This thing is not even able to hold an arc on 3/32 rod on 110v. Don't buy it if you think that's what you need. The ground clamp is not even a good jumper cable alligator clip. It's weak, thin, and makes almost zero contact. I bought a real ground clamp for $8 and it's a billion times better at actually grounding the piece. The cord is 110v, which is not the right choice, considering it can't do much more than 80 amps at 110v max, and I don't think it was even putting that much out. The thing did pop a 15a breaker at one point, so it is pulling some amperage, it just can't keep an arc going. 220v performance is much better, but I did swap to 1/8 rod and it started to work better. If you know anything about welding you will know this is not performing properly, if you are new to welding you will just blame yourself and never know. For this reason I wouldn't really recommend this for beginners. I would suggest upgrading the ground clamp, the mask, the gloves, the welding hammer, wire brush, and probably the leads and contacts. The welder itself and the stinger might be worth what you paid, but don't expect much out of the other accessories.

I’ve not converted this to 220 yet but this is a nice welder for a beginner to learn welding. This definitely has its uses around my place for little odd jobs. I did replace the ground clamp before use as other reviews suggested. Definitely worth the price for quality.
