Overall, the lift work well. A couple small annoying issues. Fisrt, the slides seem very tight. The lift barely lowers if there is no weight on it. Second, I don't like the releases for the locks. You have to release them on each side and once released, there is no safety until you go back up. This means you have to remember to go up if you come down at all. If safety depends on someone remembering to do something, its not very safe. Most lifts like this have a release lever you hold while going down. You can also hold it in going up so you don't have to listen to the deafening bang of every notch on the way up.
