With some new bike trails opening near my home, I decided to look for a new bike. I looked at a bunch of bikes and this one just stood out. The bike comes very well packed and almost completely assembled. Anyone with the slightest bit of mechanical skills should have no trouble completing the assembly. Mounting the front tire, the handlebar. and the seat should take all of 20 minutes (it took me 10 minutes to remove all the packing materials!). The derailleur tuning was pretty much spot on out of the box, but if "tweaks" are necessary, the internet if full of videos describing the procedure. The brakes were a bit "loose" and required a slight cable adjustment, but again, if you need to learn how "YouTube University" has plenty of classes available. Overall, it took well under an hour to unpack, assemble, and dispose of the packaging and the bike was ready to test drive. Once I adjusted the seat and handlebar height the bike is quite comfortable to ride. I live in Florida and there isn't much elevation change near me so 14 speeds are plenty. The gears shift smoothly and the bike handles quite well. I'm 5"' 8" and could easily adjust the heights for a comfortable riding position. I'm not so sure if someone much over 5-10 could attain this. Only time will tell if this is a good long-term ride, but the initial quality leads me to believe this will be true.

Phenomenal starter bike. Everything was shipped with care. The assembly was straight forward. I've noticed a few of the reviews didn't follow the super simple manual that was included with the bike. Don't let this deture you. I spend a few weeks looking at bicycles and settled on this one as the best deal for dollar ratio along with the most features at the price point. That being said, make sure to watch a few videos online about bicycle simple maintenance and know how. It'll help fine tune things like the seat, handles, and derailer to name just a few of the things that will help you enjoy your purchase!

Arrived within the estimated dates for delivery. There was a broken shifter lever due to sipping conditions beyond the sellers control. They were very quick to respond, and worked with me to come to a more than satisfactory resolution to the issue. Setup was relatively easy for me (if you are not mechanically inclined, I suggest seeking assistance). There were some minor adjustments needed to the breaks and the shifters; however, that can happen with the purchase of a fully assembled bicycles from your local Fredmyer's or Walmart. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the product, the price, and most important to me, the service.

For me, it was complete garbage. The brakes do not work and I’ve gone through six hours and 38 minutes of tutorials on YouTube and Google and nothing works. That does not even count for the time for rinse, repeat and doing it over and over again. I threw the bike in the dumpster and I’m better for it. Please do not buy.

Arrived on time. Came well-packaged. Took about 20 minutes to unbox, Assembly was fairly straightforward and took about an hour and a half. Tires were even inflated to nearly rated PSI. Hardest parts were mounting the front wheel and aligning the handlebars. Beautiful looking, black machine when fully assembled. Took (tried to take) it for my first ride this afternoon. I got on and started pedaling. First thing I noticed was it steers extremely fast due to narrow tires and nearly vertical fork angle. Started in a low gear and tried an upshift after half a block. It made the gear change, but there was a lot of derailleur noise and the gear I had shifted into made pedaling a little too difficult. So, I tried to downshift, and that's when it all went to hell. The chain jumped the front and rear sprockets and became locked between rear sprockets and the derailleur was now turned sideways with the chain locking it in place. Tried to disentangle everything but it was impossible. Had to get my car and load it in back with the seats down and drive it home, where I was able to dislodge the chain from between the rear sprockets and run it through the rear derailleur. However, it proved impossible to remount the derailleur to its bracket. I contacted the seller, Weize Bikes, and they graciously offered me the options of a replacement bike or a full refund. I really loved the look of the bike (sexy black) and it rode really well before the "accident". However, I have since then suffered a serious injury to my right foot which, unfortunately, will prevent me from riding a bike for some time. So, I requested a refund, which the good people at Weize promptly granted. I am extremely grateful to them for their understanding of my situation and I can unhesitatingly recommend them and their bikes. Wonderful customer service!

The breaking system is equivalent to a toddlers bike: you’ll have to use your legs to stop. If you happen to want the choice to stop before hitting a car, I’d recommend replacing the entire brake system. Otherwise the bike rides well! It’s fast, and as lightweight as an aluminum frame can be. Gear shift works well, seat adjustment is easy, and the assembly is straightforward. It’s worth the price when it’s on sale, but you’ll most likely be paying an extra $200+ for brakes.

Great little bike, for $175 you get what you get. It's not some top of the line, it's a very useable and fun bike. I'm a dad and purchased just to have something else to work out with, and it fits that purpose for my 20 mile round trips. Bike was easy to assemble, took maybe 25 minutes to tighten and install everything and rides smoothly. Great purchase if you're looking for something cheap to ride, have fun and keep in shape on the low side of dollar amount.
