I installed 2 of these in place of 1 dead battery in my 5th wheel camper last year. I was planning (and took) and month long cross county camping trip and was making sure I had extra power if I needed it. I really never did but it was good to have them anyway. On another trip we were informed that the power would be shut off to the campground for 8-10 hours for maintenance. Power went off at 7 AM and I turned on the inverter to power my residential refrigerator. It was still going strong after 6 hours when the power came back on. The media could not be loaded. I have two Zohler sump pumps and wanted to use the second pump as backup. The first pump runs 99% of the time because it sits lower. The second is there in case the first one fails. I connected the battery with a 1500 Watts UPS inverter, that I bought from Harbor Freights for $100. The battery is then connected to a battery charger ($20 on amazon)connected to the outlet which keeps the battery fully charged. If power fails the second pump will run straight from the Wayze battery. To test a power outage, I disconnected the first pump from the outlet, then disconnected the battery charger from the outlet. During heavy rain the pump ran from the battery for 10 hrs. Pump was cycling every 30 seconds. I think this is a pretty good battery. Keep in mind this is only to use as secondary system. If you only have one pump then looks for the Ecoflow battery backup which cost around $500 on amazon. ... show more
