I was hopeful that the glass beads in this would help reduce the heat retention, but nope. This thing is HOT. I constantly wake up sweating. Also, you don't realize just how heavy it is until it slips off and you try to pull it back up with a tug or with your foot. It's HEAVY, keep that in mind.

I get it now. I get the whole weighted blanket craze. I wanted one for a long time, but cringed at the price - especially since I'm a heavier woman and needed a heavier blanket than the 10 and 15 lb blankets I saw in stores. I got a 25lb blanket and I absolutely love it. I will say that I wish it were a little bigger - this says it is for a queen size bed, but the blanket only just comes to the corners of my queen bed, there's no hangover. However, with a blanket this heavy, it really isn't an issue, as it doesn't just pull up easily, so I never feel uncovered. The price was fantastic, and the cover is very nice looking and soft. I absolutely love it.

It feels minky and soft like the best of fuzzy blankets, it's just heavy enough, and you sleep like the dead when using it. What's not to love? Be warned though... Due to how big it is (which is a major bonus), you'd better hope you lift weights. My friend tried to move it and actually couldn't. Sooo... it also lends quite a bit of entertainment lol

This blanket has transformed my sleep. I found it to be a little hit to use in combination with another blanket but by itself is the perfect temperature for me. It says it’s dry clean only so I recommend buying a cover that can more easily be washed. I have not found one I’m happy with however.

I absolutely LOVE my weighted blanket! I don't want to sleep without it! The pressure on my legs calms me down and helps me to sleep deeply and stay asleep during the night. I got one for my teenage daughter and she loves it too. I noticed better sleep quality in her since using the blanket. Between the two of us, the weighted blanket helps a LOT with autism, restless leg syndrome, Bipolar 1, anxiety, depression, insomnia, sleep apnea and a restful night! I HIGHLY recommend this product. It is made of quality material and the weight of the beads is distributed evenly and stay that way. The only regret you'll have is that you didn't buy it years ago!

1. This fits a twin or a full mattress properly, not a queen. 2. I tossed and turned all night still. 3. It has a nice texture and warmth to it but it does not meet the requirements and will be returned promptly.
