Product is made well. I just found it hard to work with. I felt as if I needed to squeeze it tightly so I didn't drop my frame of bees and found it uncomfortable. I also found it hard to move around to inspect frame. Not a bad product I personaly didn't like it.

    • It's hard to keep it holding the frame.
It slips and releases grip easily. I have dropped frames full of bees too many times while using this device. Maybe it's operator error. If so I need something more used friendly .

    • Put together backwards at the factory. Yikes.
Nice item, but springs assembled backward at the factory. Had to reset them with needle nose pliers. Come on, it can not be that hard to get right.

I have been beekeeping about a decade, and cannot believe I waited until now to get this thing. It works great!!! I ordered one early this summer, and it arrived super bashed up! No quality control on Amazon's part in packaging that time around. But I returned that damaged one and promptly received a new one that was in perfect shape. I do recommend this product as well built and useful, and I expect it will assist me in my beekeeping duties for many years to come. ... show more
