However, the weather stripping was falling off in two places and would no longer stick in the proper location without additional cement. These tool boxes aren't cheap, but the quality is as high as I hoped it would be. It's much better quality than the store brand aluminum box I had in my last pickup.

Just received a few days ago. I believe the old adage "You get what you pay for." Weather Guard is not the cheapest product on the market, but after owning several of the other brands, I can't believe I waited so long. Very well put together, sturdy and pleasing to the eye. I was skeptical of the locking mechanism, but it is outstanding thus far. The interior lift support was very brawny. When the box arrived the cardboard exterior had taken a slight beating, but the chest was fine. All parts were accounted for. So far, highly impressed. ... show more
