So happy with my choice. Because I often surf photos first, I'll start by saying that the photos are meant to show how well this chair cleans up. Please read the entire review for full photo explanation. With this whole covid pandemic, my son has been spending a ton of time with his cousins. Since they can't visit any other friends in person they've been inseparable. If hes not staying the night at their house, they're at our house. The problem is that even if I use every blanket in the house to make them a bed on the floor, they still complain of aches and pains in the morning(because they're 10... so ya know.. they're just SOOOOO old, their poor bodies can't handle it. Lol) So I started on a mission to find something that wouldnt take up too much space, could easily be stored when not in use, wouldnt deflate, or be a pain in the royal keister to set up and take down... I looked at about a ga-jillion and 2 options (and yes ga-jillion is a word... i just made it up hehehe) and eventually narrowed it down to 3 that were under $150. I went back and forth and eventually settled on this one because of its versatility and the fact that it checked all my boxes. My son uses it as an extra gaming chair for his cousins when they're over and then loves turning it into their bed for sleepovers. Plus it's so lightweight he can take it with him when he sleeps over their house. My main worry was "will it be too firm?" Well, I'm here to tell you its lovely. Imagine a little pillow top toddler bed... that's what it feels like when it's laid flat and BONUS it comes with a nice soft cylinder shaped pillow. It takes a minute to get the hang of folding it but once we figured it out we were good to go. The key is to push it all the way forward so the back touches the seat and push down firmly in order to kind of 'reset' it and start again if you want to lay it back. (like those old folding lawn chairs but these take a bit more force). As you can see in the photos, we ended up with a couple small stains on the chair the first day... don't ask how...I contacted the seller with questions about cleaning and they responded promptly and were extremely kind and thorough in making sure my questions were answered. After speaking with them, I went ahead and cleaned the stains and they came right off!!! (See photos) I was so happy with how easy it was to clean! My favorite thing about this is how it's so lightweight that my 10 year old can fold it all up and carry it to the vehicle himself, and when its bedtime he can lay it down, pop his fitted sheet on, grab his blanket and hes good to go. (P.S. jersey fit crib sheets fit nicely and you can fold it up and set it on the seat and fold it right into the chair to carry it) No more fussing with air mattresses. We bought this to sit on the floor to play with our toddler grandson and it's worked out perfectly. It's comfortable, sturdy, easy to change the backrest angle. Spilled food (see: toddler) has cleaned right up with no staining. Well worth the money.

When I first got the chair to recline, it wouldn't click back upright so I thought it was broken. I quickly figured out though the trick is to lay it all the way flat then put it back up. So don't worry if your chair doesn't seem to be clicking back upright, it is not broken!! If laying it flat doesn't seem to do the trick, remove the second layer cushion to push down while lifting the back side (see the product video). The seat has great support and is very comfortable...I like to spread out on on the floor to study/ read/ hang out and this seat is perfect. It does fold up well, but keep in mind, even folded needs a moderate space for storage. I like having the arm rests and the little pillow. Nice material too, I got the grey and like the color (though i put a folded sheet on the cushion to preserve it longer in a household of boys) ... show more

It’s a great small chair that folds away nicely. My wife bought one a couple years ago, and I added another this year. I think the quality seems slightly down from the earlier model, both in terms of fabric and the locking mechanism, but it’s still a good value. Surprisingly it can handle bigger men too, and has been successfully tested on drunk men over 6’.4” and 240lbs! It may be a bit too small for the extra wide though. ... show more

When we first got it, it was great to use as an alternative to sitting on the floor. However, after a few days of using it, the right arm of the chair broke off for no apparent reason. Don't waste your money on this like I did. Poorly made.

I bought this chair after reading the great reviews it had. It is pretty good in most regards but it didn't quite meet expectations. It is sturdy which is very nice but my bum was sore after a while, especially when having it in the chaise position. There doesn't seem to be much support there. If you have wider hips this might not be the most comfortable because the arm rests are a bit hard, but maybe it was just me trying to sit in a certain position. Honestly, it seems like it is much better suited for young kids than adults. ... show more

I live the floor life and own a few floor recliners already. I personally prefer the slightly rougher material that this chair is made of because it is more durable than the softer fabric on other chairs. my cats love it and enjoy clawing their way up it, but not a tear to be found yet. I do try to cover it with a blanket to stop them from using it as a scratching post. I love putting it all the way down and sleeping on it for naps, and I enjoy it both with the leg rest out and with it doubled up to be a taller chair. I like the little pillow for my naps but also as a foot rest when I don't have the legs all the way out. I'm about 5'4 and fit easily with my feet still on the foot rest when it's all the way out. A taller person would probably still have to use the little pillow to rest their feet. It'll tip over when I have it out at a 120 degree angle and accidentally sit on the reclining part, but it's about a 5 inch fall and that's my own fault for not paying attention. ... show more
