The media could not be loaded. I purchased this dehumidifier to use in my basement which is pretty large. The humidity level always was over 60% and just felt sticky and musty. Plugged it in, hooked up the gravity drain and connected some 6 in duct to the air outlet. Humidity % dropped by 10 % in just a couple of hours and now stays comfortably at 45% all day. It seems to move lots of air and with the duct hooked up to the air outlet which in my case is connected to the other side of the basement, so I now also get good air circulation throughout the basement. I’m using the gravity drain with the included hose to get the water out but it also has a pump if you need to install it somewhere lower than a suitable drain. There is an optional wired remote control that I did not use since I have easy access to the unit. Amazon delivered it in 2 days and 1 day later my basement was noticeably more comfortable. So far so good- this thing is a beast! I’m using it in an 3500 sq ft unfinished basement full of stuff that seems to stay continuously damp. Got sick of using 2 or 3 small “consumer” grade ones. This unit is able to hold the area to 50% relative humidity. While I’m using the gravity drain, I like how this has a built-in condensate pump. It’s well packed and runs quiet. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Was having humidity issues in the basement and needed to get it under control, as soon as I plugged it in it instantly started to drop my humidity. I thought it was going to be a lot louder than it actually is, I can have it in the middle of my basement and not feel like it’s overpowering, it’s also nice to have the two different options on how to drain the water out! I have had this dehumidifier for two years now and it has operated flawlessly. Lately I had a slight problem however the customer service people were fantastic and they sent me a replacement part free of charge to fix the unit. Great responsive customer service!!
