Pretty tough little case so far. I do Outdoor YouTube video's and got this for my Gopro Hero7 Silver and it fits it great. I even came with and extra mount for my chest rig, adjuster screw and lense over for the camera. So far it's holding up great and the case has room for the charging/sd card door on the side to open without having to be removed from the case, and all of the Microphone slots line up perfect!!

Love this frame! It works really well and I can access all the settings & buttons I need to shoot vids. It's sturdy enough for what I do (What I can't test is surfing, hard knocks, etc.) Only accessing the battery and card needs to have the camera removed from the case. I specifically wanted something close to the way I use my GoPro 8, for my GoPro 5 which I previously used the clunky clear plastic OEM case. I'm a happy camper!

Broke part of the case for Marge go pro and really needed it to work. This case was exactly what I needed. It fit perfectly, just like they came together, and I like the rubber lense cap a lot. It put us back on the go with the go pro for a lot less money than I’d expected to put out; would recommend.

The one I purchased is for the GoPro 6. You can charge/data transfer without removing from the case. All audio ports are open, which will be better when using while walking around or during slower activities. I'll use the stock case to cut down on wind noise when applicable since the mics are covered by GoPro. The molds and fit are better than GoPro. It's not quite as hard to snap the locking mechanism. The camera has no freeplay. Seems to have a deeper front lip for a more solid fit. This product truly is better than what comes with the camera and worth every penny of the selling price.

I always wanted this and stumbled across this product by accident. I keep my GoPro on my helmet to charge and did not necessarily like not having the door attached 24/7 and feared I would lose the access door by accident. This allows me to keep the door on the GoPro and simply open it to charge it everyday without taking the camera out of the mount or taking the access door off. I can confirm that it does not feel as firm as OEM GoPro products, but I am not opening/closing the mount at all. If you think you will constantly take your camera in/out of the mount I would recommend having a spare or two as I could see how repeated use or light abuse could break it as the plastic is somewhat thin. However, for my purposes, its perfect.

I purchased this cage after trying an aluminum cage and another brand plastic cage. This one is perfect for me. Although the aluminum cage worked, the microphones holes are not quite right and the camera fit was so tight I could hardly get the camera out to change the battery. The aluminum cage is also much heavier. This cage fits nice, I can easily remove the camera to change the battery and all the required microphone cutouts are in the right places. I also prefer the smooth finish of this cage as opposed to the other plastic cage that has a rubberized finish. This cage is EXACTLY what I was looking for.
