Been using it for half a year now and it has held up very well. You cannot fit wide blades but it does fit long knives. I don’t have any wide knives so this aspect doesn’t bother me but it may be something to consider for someone else.

I formerly used a hard case to travel with my very old Henkel knives. While very protected, the case was cantankerous and took up a lot of space. This pouch was a great solution. With the exception of my long carving blade, this pouch works great. Shorter blades allow the flap to tuck in for good security. It also comes with tip protectors which I'm sure will get lost, but will prolong the life of the cloth. ... show more

I ordered this for my My wife in January as a Valentine’s Day gift for her knife set, and the date to return has unfortunately lasped .. the item is canvas and has a hole in it! And the canvas is such that it’s stiff and leaves marks which look white on the canvas when you handle it. Beware. Do not buy this item. It is NOT worth the money and is by far not an acceptable way to carry your expensive knives! ... show more

I used to throw the knives in the bin with the other cooking stuff I use for camping. This keeps them all in one place, and I'm not concerned about grabbing a blade instead of a pot handle. Also helps me keep track of them. I didn't have any use for the small black coverings for the tips, they just kept falling off, but was nice touch. ... show more
