My husband kept telling me about Samsung soundbars on sale at Costco with subwoofers for about $300. I had to remind him that we have an S series Samsung with the optional rear wireless channels.     • Added lots of depth to the soundbar.
I have the SWA-9200s rear speakers and HW-SB1B soundbar. This subwoofer made a huge difference on the low end sounds from the soundbar. The soundbar has great clarity and range for its size but nothing beats a subwoofer. If I had to pick between the rear speakers and subwoofer due to budget constraints I would recommend adding the subwoofer first. Then get the rear speakers to round out the system. Setup was a little tricky but a quick google search provided a youtube video which made setup easy. ... show more

Paired with Samsung S60B and 9200 rear speakers to create a 7.1.2 system great when gaming or watching movies, sports etc. the bass is great and a welcomed addition of lows to the overall system.

    • Positioning makes a huge difference
Bit of a tech head, so I have bought many different audio devices over the years. Not only is this sub outstanding, the S60B bar it pairs with is equally impressive for the size....heck impressive without taking size into consideration. My sub is in the corner and I noticed that placement of the sub can make it sound very different. Additionally, my sub was is an open 1000 sq. ft. basement so it only make sense that confining it made it sound much better. ... show more
